Marina Inn

I liked that it was close to the airport but in a real place. You could walk to the marina, coffee and dinner.

Convenient to the marina, restaurants and services. Very thin towels. The towels did not dry out during the day. Breakfast was skimpy.

Location Room and decor were pretty dated and could do with a refresh. Room was reasonably clean.

Basic amenities, nice location in downtown Des Moines. Easy walk to marina and pier.

This property is old and "vintage" but very well maintained with excellent service and cleanliness. I would definotely stay again.

My favorite place to stay near the airport. Great location with many good restaurants and fun to walk the Des Moines waterfront in the evening. Really good value and I like that it is independently owned and not a chain. Always very clean and quite rooms that are quite large. Thanks for another great stay. I will be back.

The property was in a good location. It was a clean room. It is an older hotel, so not as upgraded. The breakfast was disappointing.

We stayed one night here before we caught a flight out of Seatac. The convenience of checking in via the cell phone and getting our door code in an email, made this a very simple process. The room was a bit oddly shaped, and the shower could have used an update since the coating was peeling, but it was clean.

Very clean basic motel close to the city. We were happy to stay there on our way to world cup game!

Not so good. A lot of money for this kind of room.

All good just needs the shampo dispenser and hair dryer fixed or replaced since they don’t work during the stay.

Great location near airport rental car return without staying at airport area. Great parking smaller property. Could walk to may places as pharmacy, quick stop type store and several restaurants to choose from. Very quiet at night. Near lake waterfront.

The room was clean and comfortable although outdated. Hair dryer did not work but other appliances were good. Breakfast was limited and, although it opened at 7, coffee pot was already empty a few minutes later.

My only complaint was that the website description led me to believe there was a tub. My husband has a bad back and likes to soak. There is only a shower, but the water is very hot and it doesn’t run out of hot water. If you’re just looking for an overnight stay in a clean place, and don’t need anything fancy, this place is perfect.

Decent place to stay. It is an older hotel. Location is key. Close to the airport. Close to the Marina and free parking
