Everything was amazing. The staff on a 1-10 scale 15. The breakfast food and the hard workers another 15. The only thing that needs fixing is the doors that slam shut. Yes we will be back again and again.

The staff were a bit rude. One staff member went to show me where the ice maker was then proceeded to use the ice machine before me. The adult time at the pool was filed with more kids than adults.

Nice place and great location. Ask for top floor because you can hear all footsteps. Walls are thin so it’s quite noisy. Bring earplugs. Room was clean and the continental breakfast was decent. Coffee was 5 stars. It’s close to many good restaurants and breweries and the Vikre Distillery.

Very classy and nice place. A cut above most of the others. Just remember: you need to bring your own refreshments
-
Great location. Room and view were great. Breakfast had a lot of options
-
Great location, breakfast and setup.

What they can charge for a room in 2026 and what is delivered for service in return is a joke. America is so far behind Europe when it comes to hotel customer service it’s unreal.

Would have been too notch for our family if pets were allowed

Great place to stay, close to attractions. Clean, friendly hotel. Walking on broad walk to most places.

Walkable to restaurants

Absolutely amazing property! Room was clean, view was amazing (once the fog cleared), breakfast options were great, and the pool/hot tub area was a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. If you plan on spending time in and around Canal Park, this is where you need to stay!

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Location is fantastic! Walk to the bridge, area restaurants and breweries, the boat tour, and shopping. A short drive to I35 to go drive the North shore. Breakfast was free and good and staff was present, attentive, and patient and kind to children who should have had a parent with them.

There was a sofa that faced a closet style cabinet and a desk (with 2/4 dead outlets!) One quarter of a VERY large screen tv was visible directly ahead in this area, because it was hung mostly in front of the bedroom area, but off to one side, rather than centered to the room. There was a microwave / refrigerator furniture piece. The door on the refrigerator was not reversed to match the hinging on the microwave. This was counter intuitive. Initially, I thought the door was stuck. We didn't use the hot tub or exercise areas...which should really be an option for folks of a certain age...including it in the room rate is ridiculous. Folks of a certain age should not have to stay in rent-by-the-hour lodging to avoid subsidizing those "amenities." It would be far better that money was spent on quality protein for breakfast.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in almost every regard, particularly due to its fantastic location. Situated right by the stunning shores of Lake Superior, it offered breathtaking views that were especially captivating during the early morning hours. Even though it was April, the crisp air and the serene atmosphere made watching the sunrise a truly memorable experience. The hotel amenities were also impressive. I spent some enjoyable moments relaxing in the pool and hot tub, which provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration. The breakfast served was delightful, featuring a variety of options that were both tasty and satisfying. One of the best parts was that the dining area didn't feel overcrowded. Overall, my stay was both enjoyable and rejuvenating, making it a truly great getaway! for a weekend jaunt with my elder sister. I wish I could have stayed longer; the property was lovely, and I would have liked to enjoy the view more. My only complaint is that the hot tub needed to be warmer for that time of year, and the price seemed about $75 per night too high for mid-April when there weren't many activities in Canal Park.
