SpringHill Suites by Marriott East Lansing University Area

The rooms were nice and comfortable and great staff decent breakfast in the morning and coffee/water/tea/hot cocoa available 24 hours. Pool was down so that was a bummer for my daughter.

Pool was closed but overall good place to stay. Also very dog friendly!

Thankful I only stayed one night I booked two rooms at this SpringHill Suites through Booking.com. The rooms themselves were fine and we left them in pristine condition. The problem was at checkout. The front-desk associate (Kayla) was extremely rude, and when I asked for receipts she refused to provide them. I then spoke with the General Manager, who was even more unprofessional and also refused to give me the receipts. I am now concerned that the $50 incidental deposit on each room ($100 total) will not be released properly, even though nothing was damaged or taken. I have already filed a formal complaint with Marriott corporate that includes both the associate and the General Manager. I expect a hotel to provide a simple receipt at checkout and to treat guests with basic courtesy. Neither happened here. I will update this review once I know whether the deposits are refunded.

Front desk staff was helpfully friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Would stay there again.

Breakfast was adequate. Facilities were clean. Location was convenient/near MSU and Freeways. If you like farm life this is location is great. Fresh smell of manure hits you in the a.m. Not inside but when you get into the parking lot. MSU is an Ag college after all!

Check in was smooth and the staff was very helpful. Our room was very clean and felt new. The beds were comfortable. The pool was a little cold, but nice. We didn’t really enjoy breakfast, but it was okay. Our favorite part was the Mediterranean restaurant in the same parking lot, Woody’s Oasis!

Pool was out of order my entire stay. A/C was not working in workout room and breakfast room. Made exercise that morning uncomfortably warm.

Very clean. Good size room & bathroom. Breakfast was not great. Not a lot of choices. Food was not that good. Messy. No fruit. The air conditioner was very loud in our room. We had to use ear plugs to sleep.

Stay was OK. Good location. Breakfast could have been better.

Clean hotel. Came very late after check in time but they were very quick at getting us chocked in.

Property and amenities were good, breakfast was good but could have better oversight so things didn't run out. Also the room I was in was very dark and could have used a lamp or standalone light in the sleeping area.

The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was the typical reheated scrambled eggs and sausage, but at least it was included with the stay.

- The room door was malfunctioning. - The ice machine, pool, and patio door were all out of order. - The luggage carts were dirty and broken. - The common area floors were filthy. It is unacceptable that nocompensation was offered.

Very spacious suite and comfortable beds. Better than usual breakfast.
