Clean room, nice staff, very safe place to stay!

While the check in & out was satisfactory despite struggling to understand a different accent, the service was lacking. I requested a wake up call that never came despite being told that they would accomplish that. Because I registered through 3rd party I was not able to have a receipt of my stay, which I need for work purposes. I haven't been told how to obtain that. The room was slightly acceptable. There were visible stains on the floor & bedding linen. Looked like the room hadn't been mopped in several visits. There was red splashes of something on the complimentary hair dryer & it simply looked old & rundown in need of a good remodel or facelift. The carpet throughout the facility was stained & there wasn't an elevator on premises that I could find. Stairs only to my room, which is alright for me, I like the exercise & only 2 floors so it was manageable. I can imagine that others may struggle. I'm not likely to use this hotel or chain any longer.

Breakfast is good. They don't have banana though. Air conditioning is very old. The dial does not seem to be working. The temperature cannot be adjusted. An indoor pool is convenient. We couldn't use fitness room though. It was after 9pm but the information says it should be open until 10pm.

Terrible service

During my one day stay it was very easy and quiet. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great! will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Lansing area. :) Very happy guest

They took my daughter nail polish and phone charger and they won’t give my deposit back which they said I have to be there in person. Which I have left really early morning while my daughter and my husband still there I told front desk give deposit to my daughter They said no have to be me in person. Now I lost the deposit. Never stay there again

It was clean throughout Price was decent but they don’t tell you that the property needs to hold $50 against your card; and that it takes about 3 to 10 business days before it’s refunded back to your card. That should be an aspect that is transparent to the customer before booking

The main thing that bothered me was the fact that my grandsons we not allowed to use the pool at all. Period. He implied “guests cannot use the pool” I said “well am I a guest?” He said “no” so I was genuinely confused. The room had already been paid for so I just said nvm. However. It is July and hot outside and there is no where to control the A/C. Bizarre! My deposit also he said “can take up to 10 days to get back on debit card.” This was insane ! NEVER AGAIN

Breakfast was fine, the bed was comfortable. The refrigerator and freezer were a nice size The shower flooded onto the floor no matter how you adjusted it. There were roaches in our room. We didn't not feel safe in the back parking lot. There were people staying close to our room who were clearly using the room to traffic and do drugs. At one point my husband actually found a small baggie of either crack or meth laying in front the door into the hotel. I alerted the front desk staff when we checked out. We also observed people letting others into the building to use the pool.

This was the absolute worst booking I have ever used. I had a reservation for 3 nights. After the first night that there was NO air-conditioning. The hot water did not work, the entire place was in dis repair. Un-savory people milling around everywhere. The gap underneath the door was enough to roll a goofball under it. My family did not feel safe. Enough so that we propped the chair under the handle be ause the door did not shut properly. Come the morning I checked myself and my family out of the hotel vowing to never come back. Forgetting the cost of the 3 nights because booking would not even reimburse me for the days that I did not stay. No matter. Booking.com or the Quality Inn will never be a part of my life again. Stay away from both. They has little care for the consumer, electing to side with the services that do not deserve to be visited. Customer service is non existent. Talking to a robot that leads you in circles to avoid speaking to anyone. Nothing ould have made this trip better. Stay away from this property! And booking.com for that matter

I do not like the fact that the room next to us got kicked out so they kept knocking on our door saying we were loud however we were not even talking at some of the times they came to our door

When I got there to check in my rooms he had me pay separately for my two rooms that was booked together I also paid two 100 dollar fees and when I left I didn’t receive my money he never even left a deposit note or whatever it is you guys do when someone pays cash I paid one off the card and one cash also I think he over charged me because when I swiped my card the first time it took the full amount for both rooms so I had to turn around and pay another 196 again how am I going to receive my deposit back other than that that was only issue but nobody wants to travel and get over charged I got over charged when I checked in never have I ever had to pay separately for two rooms that was booked together and I think I was over charged and I didn’t receive my deposit back some was paid in cash and one was paid full off card

I think CSR should be a little personable! When checking out I had left my deposit in cash so I approached the desk to check out and put my key on the counter and the front desk person said your all set so I replied I’m not all set i have a cash deposit to receive ! I’m saying this to say address people look up from the computer!

Previous years they had eggs and sausage for breakfast. The pool is quite cloudy and for this reason we lost some diving toys and a set of blue goggles. Tile floors in the rooms are fine (some places have grungy carpets) but the floor was a little sticky. They only had two handicap parking spots. No ability of adjust temperature in the rooms.

The pool had no towel , you can only get 4 towels a day they tv doesn’t work , the staff will follow you ariubd the property , then lick you out after you bring up the problems
