There were many insects in my room. The hotel has no security system; the receptionist gave a key card to my room to another person. I woke up at 4 o'clock to find someone entering my room without my permission. Additionally, the cleaning service was very poor.

The hotel is well placed above all other buildings and the beach. Very peaceful and with a lot of space. The staff is not trained and reacting mostly chaotic. There are no "No disturb" signs available. Neither coffee makers. Permanently people were coming in the room without any warning. On the reception I was asked how was our stay. I said " Average". The reaction was "ok" ...

They have a lot of properties that belong to them so you can enjoy having dinner at different places and they provide free shuttle to go to them, they also have free shuttle to Mykonos town and to the beach that we don’t need to pay for sun beds, the staff is amazing everyone is very attentive and they are also very fast, very well organised, the price for what is offered is very good The wifi could be better, and they could have a coffe machine in the room, also a room service menu for breakfast would be nice because we had an amazing room, a extra would be if they had floating breakfast to be served in the private pool, this is just a suggestion not a complaint

Everthing was perfect. Reception, room, view, room equipment, foods, restaurant, pool, cleaning. Staf was smilling and kind. Espacially I have to open parenthesis for Mrs. Killiopi , she is really perfect and for us heart of the hotel. We have no negative comment about hotel and staf.

all hotel Staff is super friendly starting with the Operation manager Mr. Marios Gogis, reception, resturant & bar and room service. they all put all efforts to make your stay the best experience. breakfast is amazing as quality and variety of food Rooms are all having an amazing view, clean, very quite, spacious and private. honestly nothing to mention here, but would say the beach had some rocks. also i would love to have the bathroom/toilet in room had locks specially if you are traveling with family.

This was our 2nd stay to Avaton and we enjoyed our stay again quite a lot - location if you love Elia beach as much as we do, pool on the hill, friendly and efficient staff, especially at breakfast. Great breakfast offer, seating and quality of produce. We had dinner in the restaurant by the pool and enjoyed the seating and the view. Used the bus service to Mykonos town a few times, very efficient to get around. Our room missed a trash can, was not brought up even when asked. The Jacuzzi had some fault part of an heater probably and made a real annoying humming noise. We reported it a few times, but the hotel did not fix it, lucky for us we figured out a way to switch it off for the night to get a good night sleep. Sorry, I expect a flawless stay at any hotel that passes 500+ EUR night rate and not expected to assist to replicate issues in rooms as I am on vacation. Some little design changes can improve the stay - hooks in the bathroom, sink that is less design and more use.
