Myconian Panoptis Escape - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

Everything about this property was stunning. The location, the views, the design style were all wonderful. Breakfast was lovely. The chef is top notch if you decide to do lunch or dinner- honestly his food is better than all of the "sceney" places with fancy people and overpriced menus that we tried, but i realize most people go to those places for the scene rather than the food. My husband and I being foodies and not interested in the "scene" were more than happy to eat many meals at the hotels restaurant with chef Alex. Panoptis Escape is quiet, private, luxury if that's what you're looking for. It's the perfect place to unwind, and if you decide to dip into the party scene it's easy enough since on this small island nothing is father than 20 minutes away. Also note that there is a great vibe due to a DJ playing music in the common pool/bar area every afternoon and evening, even if there are only a few guests, so it never feels stagnant or stuffy. The beach chairs are comfortable and Elia beach is the perfect way to spend the day. The food at the beach could have had a wider and more enticing offering. It was very simple. We would have loved to spend more time at the beach, but we always ended up leaving just to get lunch.

Apart from the breath-taking facilities and surrounding environment, the most important resource of all, the PEOPLE! The fact that we did not have even more time to stay there!

I liked absolutely everything, have nothing to complain about. First of all - architectural solution of the hotel and interior design of the rooms are incredible. We have spend the entire time inside the room as it really has everything you might need - amazing view, infinity pool with the sea water, small own beach with the sand, terrace, breakfast delivery at no additional cost, etc etc. Staff in the hotel is very helpful - special thanks to Kostas and Elena. I’m pretty sure that this hotel is the best place in entire Greece (I know what I’m talking about as it’s my 7th visit to this beautiful country). Highly recommended. During the pick-up from the airport the driver brings you first to another hotel where you meet the manager who shows you all the facilities of the complex and follows you for the check-in and to your room. So if you first get the feeling “I expected more”, don’t worry, the best is coming :) Can assure you that there is no disappointment possible.

Breathtaking. Exquisite design and taste. First class service. I have been in the best hotels from all over the world and this one is in the top 3. Not staying anywhere else in Mykonos.
