Mattresses also need to be replaced. Lighting in all hotels is always to dim, but this one was the worst. And to make that even darker, the walls were painted dark blue, almost black. Made you feel like you were in a cave. I know they mean well, but again fix the basic needs first, then work on the frills. Plumbing, beds, service, lighting!

New owners took over the day before we arrived but were very friendly and helpful. Property was well taken care of. They have big changes coming soon and I look forward to seeing them on my next visit

Very nice stay overall. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice and hot. Room stayed cool. We didn’t ask for extra towels but no problem. The new owners were very nice and friendly!!

Staff was very welcoming upon my arrival. The room was clean, the game room had a lot to offer, pool was nice, and it’s very close to downtown and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

This place is perfect for an overnight stay in a small town. It is not fancy, but that doesn’t matter. It’s adorable and the staff take pride in their business. The rooms are older and basic, but very clean and comfortable. There is a swimming pool and activity room with board games, which was set up nicely and maintained well. They have a fire pit they start in the evenings which is a cozy addition to the natural, rustic woods around the property. We enjoyed our stay!

Great value for the price. Plenty of parking, quiet at night, billiards table in hospitality room. Comfy beds. Great front desk staff.

Everything was great. The place even had a lovely game room with a pool table. At night, they had a firepit going and offered marshmallows with skewers which made our 8 year old very happy. We will definitely be back, especially once the swimming pool opens for the season.
