Statue Road Inn

Water pressure was crap. Ice machine broken. Place was run down. A/C was in dire need of service, ran hot or too cold, no happy medium. Owners never in office when needed. Continental breakfast was store brand items I could have bought at Walmart myself. This room was NOT worth $99 a night... $65-75 would have been a better price point. Will NOT be back, will not recommend to friends/family... in fact, I will tell them to avoid the place.

It's a very old hotel.It felt like I was staying in a motel in the 70s. It was clean though and the staff was very nice.

Suppose to be non smoking rooms but when we came back from the Zombie crawl our room smelled like Marijuana. You could hear everyone in the rooms around us. Their tv when they turned on the shower and when they flushed the toilets. The beds are not comfortable. I woke up constantly from hurting in my back, my shoulders. The heater didnt work unless you had it set on 80 degrees.

Excellent staff! Very friendly and helpful! Motel was a great location if going to the Passion Play. Carpet in the room.

The rooms were clean, just could hear outside noise. Called for TP, but never got it, we had to use Kleenex.

This was a great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful.We were treated as guests and not just customers.The room was clean and comfortable. With real blankets and comforter on the bed instead of the thin white blankets found in chain hotels.There was comfortable pillows that were normal sized instead the usual half sized ones found in most hotels. There was an actual bath mat for the bathroom floor. I don't remember the last time I seen that. The place was quiet the three days we were there. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The only reason I'm not giving a perfect score is the ashtrays on the balcony and the trash cans by the stairs were never emptied while were there but even that can be excused since I'm sure it was only because the place is run by only a couple of people and they were busy working and helping guests every time we seen them. If we ever return to this area this is where we will stay and I'll recommend it to anyone who asks.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful! We also loved the convenient location, and the price was good. We love the property, it just really needs updated. Such as the carpet needs taken out…It smells musty and felt damp. We also saw a couple of roaches. We could tell the staff tries their best to keep it clean, it just really needs updated and a deep clean.

Location perfect. Staff friendly and helpful, owners went out of the way to make us feel welcome and give us suggestions to places to see and visit.

The staff was friendly even remembered my name when I went to check out. The price was great. Also got to enjoy the play which was right by the hotel. The one thing would probably be having to carry everything upstairs but it really wasn't that big of a deal.

King bed was big and comfy! We wasn’t in the room much but to sleep and for our needs the room was good. Nice looking pool, but we never got to get in it. Room decor was a bit odd with an outside table inside the room. ( still clean and nice though) Parking wasn’t great and building looked a little run down.
