Hyatt Place Fairbanks

The hotel itself, and the staff, were great. The only downside was being work up multiple times in the night by some noisy/inconsiderate guests. I had to call the front desk to deal with the situation, but it was just a frustrating situation to be in.

We reserved our room at this location because it was advertised on Expedia that it had shuttle service to/from the airport and to/from the Alaska Railroad depot. That was a big driver in choosing this place. The day we flew to Fairbanks when I contacted the hotel for transportation they advised me that they stopped providing shuttle service to the airport. So I had to pay for a taxi to get to the hotel. Then I asked them about shuttle service to the Alaska Railroad depot and they told me that they stopped that as well. Once again I had to scramble to arrange taxi service to the depot. Nether the hotel or Expedia advised me of this change. Not an ideal situation for someone trying to enjoy their vacation.

We enjoyed our stay in Fairbanks! Hyatt Place was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was great!

Yes, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was very attentive and helpful.

I am allergic to feathers. The hoel had a limited supply and all were in use. The night manager went to the local Walmart to get some for me to use. Over and above!!

Convenient location with good amenities. Breakfast buffet had lot of options.

The bathtub wax not very clean. It was a typical basic room. The staff were great. Appreciated the laundry room

The room was roomy and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast even though we ended up only using it one day was a good size and very good. All in all it was a great choice and I would stay there again if back in Fairbanks.

Alex checked us in and was amazing.

Very comfortable beds. Shade did not work and had holes in them. Not pleasant in Alaska. The bathroom counter was very small and not much water pressure

Alex at check-in was amazing. The hotel was clean and well appointed. The TV connection worked sporadically, but we were too tired to ask about it. There was a dripping sound in the wall that was very loud.

The staff was helpful. We booked the hotel room 8 months ago and they changed their shuttle service policy, eliminating the shuttle service to/from the airport and train station but they honored what we purchased and covered the service. They were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was clean as was the room.
