That aside, the price was good and the rooms are huge. Not much in the way of amenities, honestly, but a clean, decent place to stay. The location is quite nice.

This place was gross. Felt like a cheap motel that hadn’t seen a good clean since the 80’s. The room smelled so bad and was musty. We had a headless bird on our balcony. The place looked run down. But the most annoying part is that anytime anybody took a shower, the single smoke alarm would go off when the bathroom door was opened. Every time. Even our neighbors came out to see what was going on. And no it wasn’t CO and stove is electric and never used. Also, when I asked for a shuttle to pick up my rental car at the airport (they offer shuttle service) I was told no. That it was only if I was leaving on the day of my departure. Also their room cleaning service is only every 4 days. This place was way too expensive to have these kind of issues. Hard pass.

Old beds, old everything, old smell. Third floor with no elevator. It was just kind of gross, hot, and suffused with a bad smell.

No real amenities, but suite was very nice. Great food at adjoining hotel. Will stay there again

Excellent location, nice apartment, good amenities and full kitchen great for cooking in.
-
The room was very clean and the kitchen is big enough to use for preparing meals. Only down side of these units is that they can smell of cleaning materials used to try to get rid of cigarette smoke, so if you have a sensitivity to that I would ask the staff for a change in room until you find a better one.

Check-in was smooth and easy. Front desk was very friendly. Shuttle driver was friendly and helpful with our luggage.

Comfortable and in a good location. Staff very nice. The place needs a refurbishment. Also, the lack of shower gel is annoying.

The grounds were beautiful. One of the people at the check in counter, although professional, was not really welcoming because we were there too early. When we came back later to check in there was another person, very welcoming, who checked us in. I think it would be a great place to stay for more than one night.

Excellent lodging, great location and good parking. Breakfast available close by!

The suite was very spacious; bathroom clean. The staff was extremely helpful, which made our short stay special. The property is within close proximity to the airport and downtown. There is a restaurant and cafe on property which was convenient. I was extremely happy to find laundry facilities.

Great stay! Thanks for all the information.

Location was excellent. Jerry your driver was outstanding & couldn’t do enough. Reception staff were all very friendly. The tap in the bathroom sink was not operational. The food at bear lodge cafe was embarrassing & probably the worst breakfast we’ve had in our 4 week stay in North America. We weren’t game to eat anywhere else.

We come to Fairbanks once a year, usually in March, and always stay at the Wedgewood. Love to have a full kitchen so we don't have to eat out, although the restaurants in Fairbanks are great! It's got Wander Lake right there and it's close to Creamer's Field also.
