This is a lovely, small hostel with just four rooms, each with its own private bathroom, which makes it feel very comfortable and personal. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean. Rui, the owner, is incredibly kind and attentive. He checks in daily to make sure guests are doing well and is always quick to respond to any requests. You really feel well taken care of. There’s a garden/terrace area that’s perfect for relaxing or meeting other guests, as well as a shared kitchen with a fridge and an “honesty bar” offering coffee, tea, water, and more. The location is excellent: about a 10-minute walk to the city center, yet wonderfully quiet since it’s just outside the busiest area. There’s also a grocery store and several restaurants just 2–3 minutes away. A truly warm and welcoming place. I would happily stay here again! The front door is a little noisy when it closes, and our room was right next to it, but otherwise nothing. The entire stay was really great, and everything was so easy.

The host Rui was extremely helpful, giving us great recommendations and helping us navigate the area with directions and suggested activities. The Hostel was a beautiful property and the hosts did a great job balancing being friendly and respecting privacy. I would strongly recommend staying here!

Everything was great. Kitchen well equipped. Great host. Very clean. Good location. Amazing terrace to sit in the mornings and evenings. You can borrow a sun umbrella for your beach trip. Comfortable beds. Too hot in the rooms. A bit of ‚walk‘ to the bathroom. Automatic light switches on in the corridor when other guests are arriving and makes one awake in the night shining into your room.

I booked this hostel for the second time – mostly because my flights usually arrive late at night in Faro, and I prefer not to travel to Portimão in the middle of the night. The hostel is super clean, full of charm, and Rui’s service is absolutely top-notch – 100 points! The “Bar of Trust” is always well stocked with coffee, water, beer, cocoa, etc. The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing or opening your laptop for some flexible work – Flexoffice à la Portugal. The Wi-Fi is excellent! A taxi ride from Faro Airport (FAO) costs around EUR 10–15. The train station in Faro, along with the central bus station for regional and long-distance buses, is within easy walking distance – around 15 to 20 minutes, depending on your pace.

Great place! Rui was brilliant. Very clean with everything you could want. Great Location highly recommended. Thank you for lovely stay. If I come back would stay there again. Nothing!!

Very good. Very clean. A nice bonus were the little things that can be necessary and useful. Cosmetics, books, beach umbrella for free. Coffee, drinks for a nominal fee. Excellent location. We were very pleased. The price-quality ratio is fully consistent. The owner sent an email with recommendations on places to shop and dine within walking distance. It was very nice.

I think Rui is one of the Best who runs hotels! His kindness made our stay easier than we thought he’s supporting whenever we asked for something! It was excellent experience! Almost nothing! But I think in hot summer the fan wont be enough!

Location was perfect and Rui was so helpful. He made arrangements for taxi service, provided restaurant recommendations, and was an all-around super host! Nothing to dislike.

Rui was a wonderful host, greeted us by name, and was very welcoming. Gave us some great info on things to see around Faro. The hostel is in a great spot, clean, comfy, and plenty of space to chill and relax.

During our stay, my daughter unexpectedly fell ill, and Rui went above and beyond to assist us in ways that I would never have expected. His genuine care and concern for our well-being turned a stressful situation into something much more manageable. The accommodation itself was wonderful—clean, comfortable, and well-located—but it’s Rui’s kindness and attentiveness that truly made our stay unforgettable. We felt so supported and safe thanks to his efforts. I highly recommend staying with Rui for anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a host who truly cares.

Very clean, good security, in renovated town house. Rui, the owner, was really helpful and communicative. Comfortable beds, clean sheets and nice white towels. Bathroom was compact, clean and everything worked. The kitchen area is cleaned every day, and had most things you need. Just the one ceramic hob, so if there were lots wanting to cook, I can imagine it would be a bit crowded.

Rui was very friendly and helpful during our stay. It was easy checking in and out, and we have everything we need. Room is clean and tidy, it was a comfortable stay. Location is good too.
