Santorini Mesotopos

We were very disappointed with our stay. Before our arrival, we informed the hotel that we were attending a wedding and asked if an early check-in would be possible. We also called in advance and were told that this would be fine. When we arrived, we were informed that the Standard Room we had booked had no window, no balcony, and was located three floors below ground level. This was never mentioned in the Booking.com room description, so it came as a complete surprise. We were then told that our booked room would only be ready at 3:00 p.m., but that another room was available immediately if we paid an extra €60 per night. The receptionist later offered it to us for €30 extra per night (€60 total for our stay), but without providing a receipt. Considering we had already confirmed an early check-in in advance, this felt very unprofessional and inappropriate. The room was also poorly maintained. The bathroom accessories were old and rusty, the refrigerator smelled bad and its door did not close properly, and the towels provided were dirty. To make matters worse, the same situation happened to our friends, who were also encouraged to pay extra for a different room. Overall, the experience was disappointing. The lack of transparency regarding the Standard Room, the attempt to charge extra under these circumstances, and the poor condition of the room did not meet our expectations. I would not recommend staying here.

Great place, and make sure to bring cash!

Flora, the manager, welcomed us as family! She was very accommodating and sweet. All the people on the property were friendly. The rooms were clean. The hotel is located nicely away from the busyness of Santorini centrally located in the middle of the island and close to the airport. We rented a car and drove all over for three days. The only drawback was that the WiFi was very sporadic.

Flora was the star of this stay! She is such a sweet host. We loved meeting her and loved our stay here. Would definitely recommend her hospitality to everyone visiting Santorini.

Staff help set up transportation from ferry to the hotel, and from hotel to the airport. Sunrises were beautiful, room was clean, and bed was comfy. Room had a fridge, able to grab things from the grocer to bring to the room. A bit far from city center, but walkable with amazing views!

Host family was really nice and the setting just as the room with a small balcony and a nice view was really nice. Breakfast around the pool area was a nice soothing experience. The wifi had a very low speed (sometimes below 1 Mb/s) and the bathroom had shower issues the first couple of days, but was then fixed.

The location was perfect just in the middle, Miss Flora is lovely! She arranged almost everything for us at arrival. You will be close to the bus stop if you want to go by bus to Oia or Fira or she will help you to rent car, atv or motorcycle, and will help you with the tours or taxi if you need it. Not coffee or water bottles in the room.

The location is just 10 mins away from the airport. Located in a quiet area It has a beautiful swimming pool situated to have the coastal view of the Santorini Region. The property is has a beautiful landscaping with cobblestones and olive trees. Watching the sunrise in our room’s balcony is a bonus… none

Relaxing & welcoming location about 25 minutes walk to Fira so a quiet property but on main bus route to the main Fira bus station. Rooms are cleaned daily.The site is really homely, grounds are immaculate. Unusual upstairs sleeping but bed was comfy & little window for a view out in the mornings. The property met our expectations and budget.

Flora and Tina were always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. They always made us feel at home. They helped us with the Taxi, ATV rent, and many other things! We loved the hotel and the location was excellent! We had a great time in Santorini, Flora and Tina's recommendations played a key role. We will be back. N/A

Amazing view and very nice pool and jacuzzi area We had an issue with the transfer. The service was made available the day before our arrival and I never got a confirmation, despite having sent two messages to the proprietor. Upon arriving at the port, their was not driver awaiting and the had to call the hotel. The driver took longer than an hour and afterwards we still had to carry our luggage to the car. The hotel proprietresses claimed to have nothing to do with this service and that it was a different company. We were asked to pay and the amount was higher than previously said. After some discussion, the proprietresses gave us an upgrade to a better room and offered her excuses. The room was apparently clean, but after a few minutes staying there we found clumps of hair rolling on the floor. When confronted with this, the proprietresses said nothing and never mentioned this again. Was a tense stay with a feeling of mistrust. Beware of extra taxes and fees!
