The rooms are very clean. Extremely close to the Florence SM Novella station. The staff is super helpful. They were very helpful with suggestions to commute, eat and other attractions

Comfortable apartments for reasonable price. The guest house is located 5 min walking from the train staition and 5-10 min from the historical center of the city. The room is spacious and equipped with all necessary. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The bathroom is large and it has nice shower. The staff is very kind and helpful. We stayed in Dafne Guest House for the second time and certainly consider it for next visits to Florence. The only uncomfortable thing may be night-time noise from the outside, but it was not very disturbing.

Staff seemed very unhelpful. I mistakenly changed the wrong room from 3 to 2 people. It did not change the price when I decreased people. But to correct the mistake, the hotel wanted 35 euros or they told me to cancel. I had a total of 5 rooms booked, and I could not cancel. They accused me of making multiple changes, which was not true. Just unwilling to help seemed very rude.

The first night, the sewer system backed up in the kitchen sink, the whole apartment smelled horrible. We called the manager, no one answered. She didn’t come till I called again in the morning. We were up most of the night , running the water in the sink to flush it.

Good location, just near by the train station of Florence S.M.V. A supermarket Conad is near by, less than 200m, which is convinent to but all things you need. The suit is big, containing a bedroom, a living room and a bathroom. Very close to the street, it was always noisy ourside at night for motorcycles running. A rabbish collection piont is under the window, which is also noisy at early morning around 5-6 am. The bed is somewhat too soft.

Lovely place in a central location. I like the fact that it is only a few steps away from the Central train station and other attractions. The facilities are excellent and the staff are nice and friendly.

It was very spacious and was a n apartment with a small kitchen and living area. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. It was sparse and basic.

Noise isolation is 0 out of 10. We couldn’t sleep.

The staff were amazing in particular Nadia. She really cares about the guests experience.

Great location near the train station, but not too close. Updated bathroom, very nice. The managers name is Nadia and she did a terrific job. Made us feel special, but I'm sure that she gives personal attention to all of her customers--superb personal work ethic. Air conditioning only turns on when the room key is set in holder. Probably not usually an issue, but it took a while for the room to cool down during the heat of summer 2023.

Had the worst stay here because there were bed bugs all over the pullout couch that one of us was sleeping in. When we notified the property that we discovered them on our last night there, they tried insinuating we brought them because we didn't discover them until the last night of 3. When I asked about a refund, they said all they could do was cover 30% of the cost of the one night we saw bed bugs. Booking.com and they even reached out to the property but got no response. I understand bed bugs can happen, but Daphne guest house again tried blaming us as US travelers bringing the bed bugs (we absolutely did not), and then back tracked to say it's a problem all over Florence. Then they told us they won't offer any compensation for 90 days because they need to file a claim with insurance. This doesn't seem like something the guest should have to wait for, even if the business does. I feel like it was a sketchy way to have us wait for a resolution before posting a review during the busy summer travel months so they can continue to book the room. But we're posting so others don't have to deal with a gross, dirty experience like this with poor customer experience. The bathroom was quite dark and moody which after the bed bugs seemed quite suspicious. It's definitely over priced for what you get. And when you pay that much, you'd hope to receive good customer service and a clean stay. They could have responded to us, and provided a refund after the experience we had.
