Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit and pastries, and eggs and fruit. The air con could not be turned down below 20 Celsius. I would’ve liked it at 18 for sleeping.

Traveled from Santa Maria Novella station to hotel via tram (just a couple of stops away) for a reasonable euro or two. very close to the tram stop. Early arrival and room was immediately available which was a relief for us. Rooms were clean well appointed and comfortable. State of the art room occupancy indicator outside the room eliminated staff interruptions while resting (this should be employed by every hotel). Largest shower in Italy for us and backdrop was appropriate and amusing. The room was in my wifes words small and tight. For the limited time we stayed there was not an issue for me. Room size could be larger

Clean, quiet, high tech occupancy indicator in hall Room was smaller size

Good breakfast. Staff was very helpful in getting us taxis to train station and airport. We stayed two separate occasions during our trip to Italy and the hotel was able to store luggage in between.

EVERYTHING! The staff was all lovely, the room was beautiful and spacious. Damn, I could’ve stayed all night every night in the shower! I loved it. The breakfast is incredible and so varied, nice buffet with lots of options. Nothing, it was way better than we expected.

Balcony Breakfast area was small

We had a shower door missing (one out of two), so taking a good shower without flooding the room was impossible, unfortunately. We informed the staff but were offered no solution. Since our stay was so short, we decided to disregard it and not insist on changing rooms, but it was weird we were put in that room in the first place.. There were a lot of hungry mosquitoes on the balcony, but I guess there's nothing to do about that.. Just bring protection against them ?

This rating is a difficult one! The room was spacious, with nice modern facilities, and the breakfast was great. I’m usually picky when it comes to cleanness and found the room very clean. Having a receptionist all the time made me feel safe and supported. Above all, the staff were absolutely amazing – warm, attentive, and welcoming and gave great tips to make my trip more enjoyable. However, I could hardly sleep because of the noise from cars speeding on the street right next to the hotel, which went on until 2–3 in the morning. Such a pity, because everything else was excellent. As mentioned, the only negative thing about my stay was the noise from the street! I would’ve anyways not opened the window due to the noise but it was also not possible to open the window or have a view of outside. But it might be that the exposures are not the same in other rooms.

We liked the location near the train and bus station. We were taking 3 full day tours on busses and we were able to walk to the tour bus location from the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The size of our room on the first floor was very good. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was small, but efficient for our needs. We liked that the bedroom was cleaned daily. The staff at the main desk was friendly and helpful when we had questions. We wish there had been a coffee machine in the front lobby for early morning coffee as we had to leave for tours before the 7:00 a.m. breakfast time. There was a coffee machine in our bedroom, but we would have preferred early morning ready made coffee in the lobby. The bedroom coffee machine was not easy to use.

Good location and helpful staff Parking lot is very tight. If you rented a bigger car you can park at the nearby Fortezza parking lot for 20 euro per day

The room looked a bit outdated with some black scuff marks on the walls and furniture.

Overall great location, close enough to walk to the centre of town which was great. The room itself was spacious enough and we had the ground floor with balcony. This was a lovely touch as we gathered some supplies from the local market and sat outside and shared a lovely couple of meals. The breakfast was enough and had a great selection of food, which we enjoyed throughout our time.
