Hotel Romagna

Only thing was the location in town Room was dirty , we found hair on the floor. Property is in serious need of a coat of paint.

Infrastructure was lacking, some problems in the room AC and shower

The location is very good, not too far from Santa Maria Novella train station. You can reach most of Florence attractions by walking, except Piazzale Michelangelo, which I recommend to reach by bus. Staff was very friendly and make us fell at home. It is good that this hotel has staff during the day, so you can check-in and check-out without problems. At night you need to use a code to enter. The breakfast is simple but pleasant. In addition, The hotel has very good facilities, sheets and towels are clean and the shower is good. Everything looks new and well maintained. The hotel has no elevator, as is rather common in Italy, and we got a room in the fourth floor. They offered to carry our bags, but we felt that we could to carry them ourselves. Not a big deal since you need to go up only once, but if possible try to book a room in the lower floors,

The bathroom too small

Location 10/10. Three minutes from the train station and the same from the Duomo. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Rooms were quite small for two-people, but still serviceable!

Wifi is pretty slow.

Great location The water from the shower was spraying everywhere, making it really difficult to take a shower.

Location to many lovely things to visit. Easy to find it at late check in time… right near the tram line from the airport. We were at the top of stairs (4 flights up) and after a hot day it was a challenge (no lift). It was tough to get a full charge on phones - which may be due to the need for a converter we brought from Canada.

The staff and the location - I've stayed here once before. Breakfast - I think they get the previous day's unsold bread rolls from the bakery next door. Since the rolls and the airplane biscuits are the only edibles on offer, I would scratch the 'breakfast' description. The coffee and juice machine are ok.

You’re essentially just paying for the location. The bathroom and toilet were not clean, though the room itself was okay

Location was fine The room was small, bed was uncomfortable amd old, the blanket seemed very old too. Everything was outdated and the lights were weak. And there was no bathroom. Only a shower over the toilet seat with the sink beside the bed. The shower head was falling apart and water wpuld go everywhere except down. A complete disaster.

Location was perfect - a couple minutes walk down the road and you reach the main square with the Cathedral de Santa Maria del Fiori. Also not far from the train station, all walkable. Front desk was also helpful. The bathroom is a very tight space for two people.

Location can’t be beat and super friendly staff that give you recommendations for food, places to visit etc when you check in without prompting, small free breakfast, can store bags up to 11pm after checkout, working AC No elevator, room is small and older (at least for me the toilet was in the shower), hot water was lukewarm for all nights except one, no fridge or microwave if you don’t want to eat out
