Helpful staff, clean room, swimming pool was a saving grace in the heat! Location was nice and quiet for a relaxing time in Florence. Loved our stay here.

The hotel is on a tree lined street, very beautiful, and an easy 25 minute walk into the city center of Florence. Along the way you pass by some very nice boutiques, restaurants, historical sights, etc. I enjoyed the peacefulness of entering the city this way. Our room was a generous size, comfortable with an old world quality that we loved. It was during a heatwave, so the air conditioning was really nice. Also took a swim in the pool, enjoyed the very nice breakfast buffet and also spent time in the lobby lounge area, meeting up with friends who were also staying at the hotel. The bartender service was excellent, as well as the front desk staff. They did help me arrange a driver to our next destination which worked out perfectly. We would definitely stay again.

Good staff

Nice hotel with a pool and a bar. The woman at the front desk was very nice. Too far from attractions and public transportation.
-
Very quiet yet only 20 min walk from point vecchio. Great breakfast and nice staff It was a little tired and expensive for what we got but i appreciated the haven after the busy center of Florence.

The hotel and room are beautiful. The hallway combines modern art on one wall, with historic brickwork on the other wall.

The room and especially the bathroom could be cleaner. Would recommend some free slippers. Unstable cable and internet connection.

Staff is super friendly and professional. Main building at the hotel is gorgeous, with a small, cute pool and beautiful indoor spaces. Breakfast is very affordable (15€ per person) with good quality. The outdoor space has beautiful plants and is perfectly maintained and there is a parking space behind the historical building, which is very practical. Our room was in the annex building, which is simply atrocious. Old, almost no sound insulation. We could hear the neighbors flushing the toilet as is they had been in our room. Almost zero privacy. Room was ok but would need a refresh. Huge cupboard but so build so high that the hangers were not usable for anyone smaller than 1.70m or children. Definitely not a 4 star exprience.

It desperately needs a paint job, maintenance, and general updating of decor. Owners are clearly skimping on necessary upgrades and basic maintenance

Perfect location, especially to transport. Fantastic breakfast, we even got a to go breakfast since we departed before 7 am.
-
Very quiet location. Quite close to the city center. Very warm and friendly staff. If I travel to Florence again, I will choose this hotel again.
-
Location was great. It was in easy walking distance to other family members who were also in town for the wedding, and an easy walk into the center of town.
-
Amazing location, nice staff, free parking, cute building. Rooms are not soundproof, and the bathroom will need some refresh (some mold on the ceiling)
-
Certain parts of the hotel are in need of some TLC.
-
Location, location, location … within walking distance to Florence’s great attractions and places. Great staff and accommodations. We had a wonderful visit.
-
Nice, spacious room. Wonderful pool and only about a 20 min walk to the city center. The walk is quite nice as it es essentially still part of the town with shops and restaurants. Rooms and carpeting could be updated.
-
The shower door leaked out on the bathroom floor creating a completely flooded bathroom.
-
The A/C was not cool enough we had our 1yr old and it was very warm
-
I personally did not like the location. He had to take a taxi to get to the city and I also did not like the AC was very warm in the room.

Location and staff was super helpful No air conditioning and needs complete renovation- smelled moldy and warm air blow from Ac vent- this was not a refreshing experience- looked lovely online from the exterior but interior was old and sad
