L'Antica Porta Boutique B&B

The location was a nice walk from the places we wanted to see. We liked the veranda.

Excellent Location: Ideally situated right next to the Florence entrance gates, making access to the historic center incredibly easy. Free Parking: A massive bonus for this area. A sibling hotel just a 10-minute walk away provides free parking, which saves a significant amount of money and hassle in a city where parking is famously scarce and expensive. Property Aesthetics: The building itself is gorgeous, featuring a fantastic and welcoming common area. Hidden Gem Patio: We were thrilled to discover a very large patio attached to our room. It wasn't advertised online, making it a wonderful surprise and a great place to relax. Minor Maintenance & Wear: While the rooms are generally well-kept and clean, there are visible signs of aging and wear and tear throughout (for example, our bathroom sink faucet was loose and wiggling).

It is a Beautiful property.The beds were super comfortable. It is in a nice location with bus station and coffee shops and some restraunts around. It is 20/25 walking from doumo and SMN train station.

Nice Victorian style. Clean, close to the gardens, and free parking just 15 minute walk away.

Make sure to ask for bunk bed instead of sofa bed (junior suite)

Espresso machine did not work.

Wi-Fi did not work well. The queen bed was two twins pushed together, so there was a bit of an uncomfortable wedge in the middle.

Great location, outside of the hustle bustle but short walk to it all! Good recommendation for the Pizza place. Very nice shared living room and good sized bedroom. Terrace was an additional plus. Door with adjoining room not insulated and we could hear the conversation. Thankfully the neighbors were quiet people like us.

Such a cute little tucked away place, right on the edge of town, in a great area. Free parking available at the sister hotel (though that's a long hill to walk up and down!), and the atmosphere of the property was gorgeous. It's called a 'b&b', but doesn't actually have any breakfast available. It didn't bother me particularly, as Italian breakfast isn't my favourite. But remember when booking that one of the 'b's in 'b&b' is missing!

We booked this place twice on our trip to Florence. We always had coffee in the morning, and the restaurants they recommended were great. Everything was great. If we go back to Florence, we will stay here again. nathing

The aesthetic The hairdryer is working only for 2 min

Classic house, beautiful place. You cannt even enjoy a cappuccino or caffee late in the hotel… there is only black coffee that you can have. Nothing nothing else!

Big room Comfortable bed Balcony No breakfast (although it has B&B in it's name?) The parking is about 1 km away from this property Really uncomfortable toilet seat ??‍♂️

The only minus is the quality of Wi-Fi - since I have worked form the location it was quite annoying.
