Bob W Florence Santa Croce

We truly did love our stay here! It was our smallest room of our Italy trip, but she was cute, mostly comfy, the staff was so kind and super helpful! Short 7-10 minute walk, from the heart of Florence! The bed was more firm than we prefer. But everything else was perfect!

Great location. Rooms were prefect. Everything we needed for our short stay. Water/ extra tea and coffee/towels/ toiletries provided. A rentable Polaroid camera was a nice extra touch. Had to opt in to room cleans and had some miscommunication with nearly being charged 40euro for the clean but was free like stated on app in the end. overall was an excellent stay and would recommend. Communication could be better when messaging on WhatsApp. Staff was getting mixed up with advice

Location next to the river, friendly staff, room upgrade with better view Shower very slippery and dangerous, self checking is complicated and need to be done before arrival although a staff is at the reception, breakfast is located in the cellar and does not offer fresh bread

Everything was great- It was very quiet and nice to be within walking distance but also nice to have a quiet area. Staff are very responsive on whatsapp and someone is there in the mornings. Nothing.

Nice place in a close distance to the city center. Right at the river - easy access to a morning run. Clean, comfortable room and bathroom. Very quiet. No disturbance. There could be more than two coffee capsules in the room. For example, one per a day of stay?

Spacious, clean and quiet room with nice breakfast downstairs. East access to all the sites in the city. Outstanding bath sheets and really friendly and helpful staff.

location was great, we were a short walk from everywhere we wanted to go. aircon worked very well (we were a bit worried about this because of other reviews) and the giant bed was super comfortable to share with a friend (it was so big we didn't even feel each other moving)

Wet friendly staff. The breakfast was really great! Location was nice on the river. Easy walking to all the sites. A little trouble with the hot water but the staff was on it.

Great location, staff were so kind and helpful from start to finish. Loved that there is a keypad rather than a key to carry around. Clean and cozy room! Spacious. I loved it and would definitely stay here again! My only complaint is the shower flooded the bathroom so I was nervous to shower again lol. It’s just the design and nature of the shower but the water pressure is amazing so that’s a part of the “issue” - no big deal. Loved it here

Everything! The hotel was so clean and impeccably kept by the staff, the whole team especially Andreas, Parvoz and Marvin are just incredible. From prompt responses to making sure I was comfortable, they went out of their way! The rooms were so clean and spacious, the views breathtaking and location absolutely perfect. I loved everything about Bob W Santo Croce. It is right on the Arno. My bedroom was spacious and beautiful. I found the bed amazingly comfortable. My bathroom was fully accessible, with grab bars in the walk-in shower. The towels were large and plentiful. The breakfast room is beautiful and welcoming. Bob W invites guests to take what they need from a Common Cupboard, accessible 24/7. The terrace is gardened and gorgeous. The Staff, each person, are/is beyond compare for kindness, hard-work, sensitivity, and helpfulness. Three kinds of water are available, without charge, 24/7: room temperature, cold, and sparkling. The system of being sent a numerical code for the keypad to enter the hotel and enter my room worked perfectly. So did the WiFi. Even though there is no traditional “reception” or “concierge,” a Staff member is always available, by What’s App, even if temporarily not at the desk. While there may be no “concierge,” technically, members of the Administrative Team , “J’, “P,” and “M,” were always willing to make suggestions, call a taxi, ask about my day when I returned. I had breakfast there every morning. There was an amazing selection of options, each carefully prepared, and beautifully arrayed. And “J,” was always on task, refreshing everything. One evening, when a rain storm had brought a parade of tiny ants into my room from the adjoining garden, “J,” was there in a flash, opening the windows before spraying, stripping the sheets and remaking the beds even though they had just been changed that morning, opening a small trap for the floor by the door, etc. I just could not get over the wonderful service in every possible way. I do not work for Bob W. I am not paid by Bob W. I did not / am not getting any kind of discount for being so superlative in my praise. In fact, I had never heard of Bob W before finding this site on Booking.com. And now I cannot say enough in praise. I loved everything. Thrilled to have found Bob W, Santa Croce, Florence through Booking.com. I hit the jackpot. I won the lottery. It made all the difference in my dream sojourn in Florence.

Because its an older building no AC and it can get noisy if you leave the windows open.

Everything was perfect

The bed is pretty comfy and the room pretty clean. The location is very good, 10 minutes by walk to Piazza della Signoria and 15 to Ponte Vecchio. The code at the entrance doesn't work well but the staff fixed everything before I left, should be fine by now. Nothing overall, very nice stay.
