Brunelleschi Hotel

This hotel is near everything you want to see and do in Florence and it includes an architectural feature, the Torre della Pagliazza, the oldest surviving tower in the historic center of Florence where you can visit an ancient Roman bath that has been preserved for your viewing if you ask. Given that the hotel is in the oldest part of the city you have to expect smaller rooms, but the ambiance and convenience to everything more than makes up for this. The breakfast included in our package was absolutely wonderful, and gave us a great start to our day of touring this beautiful city.

It was very beautiful, wonderful location and excellent staff. There is a nuance with the AC. Pay close attention to the instructions given at check in. Unfortunately, I was very tired at check in and missed it and woke up sweating because the AC was off. Technically, my fault though.

The Hotel Brunelleschi is drop-dead gorgeous, from the entrance to your own bathroom. Everything is tastefully done and relaxing. Nothing is over the top. It's quiet and friendly and exudes a sense of history like few places where I've stayed (part of the hotel is a 7th or 8th century tower). The breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn't be better--about a block and a half from the Duomo and a very easy walk to the Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizzi, the Ponte Vecchio, and the church of Santa Maria Novella. I loved staying there and would go back in a minute for as long as I could.

Fantastic! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location of property and the cleanliness. The bar staff and the young lady who checked us in upon arrival were extremely friendly and hospitable. The remaining front desk staff weren’t friendly and especially the older lady who works the desk. Room was nice but the pillows were hard and very flat, made it very uncomfortable to be rested.
