There was no elevator and you to have carry heavy luggage bag by yourself on long upstairs.

La ubicación es excelente, el staff es super amable y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites. La cocina está equipada y la terraza es muy bonita. El lugar está limpio. La cocina podría cerrar una hora mas tarde... solo eso.

Affordable (for Florence) female only room with a beautiful view of San Lorenzo, very clean, amazing balcony area with seating, and very kind and accessible English-speaking staff at all hours! I arrived very late to check in at 2am after travel difficulties and staff was super helpful and kind. I was up early and back late every day I was there, so can’t speak to social life, but it seems more quiet than a typical ‘party hostel’, which was perfect for me. Keep in mind that the towels are for rent (2 euro each) and there are no curtains around beds, but this wasn’t a big issue personally since it was a female only room. One of the bathrooms outside the room had a broken flush that would leak out, but there was a sign warning and I had another bathroom available in the room where everything was great.

Its very noisy at night for many reasons

The WiFi is unstable.

Nice place in a central location close to Florence train station and major attractions- everything walkable. Dorm rooms have real individual beds, no bunk-beds. The cleaniness is exceptional, and the reception staff are kind, efficient and helpful. Kitchen, refrigerator/ food cupboards and dishes make basic meal prep possible- although it's a bit of a walk to the main discount Lidl or Penny stores, a $$ Carrefour Express market is right next door. Soaps and shampoo are provided ( towels are not ). The rooms have AC ( but not very powerful ). You can store your luggage for free before and after your stay, this is great. Despite having a central location and clean facilities, it was for some reason not very social hostel. The price is perhaps part of that- good, not great value, but Florence is expensive for everything. The common kitchen area does NOT have AC ( not even a ceiling fan) - so not the most comfortable place to relax or cook and I think for this reason many people hid in their rooms with AC. While the location is very quiet at night, there are big heavy doors to get into the sleeping areas, these make a LOT of noise when they slam shut at night, and frequently woke me up as people came in/out.

Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and the AC was really good in the female dorm! The location is sublime - right in front of the Capelle Medicee and within extremely short walking distance to the Uffizi, the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio. The common spaces close at midnight, which cut a lovely conversation with another fellow traveler short, haha. And, caveats of this being a hostel - the lady sleeping next to me left early in the morning and took my new iPhone charger and left her old dirty one; I didn't notice until later that day.

Overall the room was good. In the room and in the bathroom there was absolutely everything you need. The view from the window is stunning. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Access to the common terrace is simply wonderful. Absolute pleasure. Kitchen shared by several rooms, but it has everything you need. Including coffee, tea, sugar, etc. The hotel has a very good location. All attractions are nearby. The real problem of this hotel is the lack of an elevator. The stairways are very steep and large. We lived on the third floor. We had to go through four flights of stairs with difficulty, especially if you've been walking outside in the heat for several hours prior, even though we are all quite athletic. So for the elderly, this is simply unsustainable housing.

Smack in the middle of the center, the location is unbeatable. It's no wonder why this hostel is so highly rated - the rooms are spacious (they don't try to jam as many beds as possible into each room), the terrace is super nice, the staff are extremely friendly/helpful, everything is very clean (they clean the rooms daily), and there is AC! The beds are also very comfortable. They will let you leave your luggage for free the day that you are leaving which I thought was really nice. The bathrooms are a bit outdated and there's no ventilation. Also, they don't provide locks for the lockers. So would advise to bring your own or you can buy one from them. I don't have much else to say here, it was a great stay.

The location was perfected, just a short walk from the Duomo and what felt like the perfect spot in the center of the city. Our room was spacious, well air-conditioned, and comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean, though it was one bathroom between 2 rooms of 3, so sometimes you had to wait, but that wasn’t a big deal. The staff were very kind and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like were the stairs going up to the hostel, which is just me being lazy because I had a suitcase. Nothing else really.

Matteo was great accomodating me at such a short notice.

common spaces are a plus possibility to lock my bike on the terrace nothing

Best staff ever after over a month in Europe, Enis and Cho especially tragic amount of stairs

They did not give the same room that was described and pictured in the booking site.

I have been traveling for a year now and this was the best hostel I have stayed at. It’s right in the centre too, and surprisingly quiet. There were small details in the room nobody even thinks of, which makes life a bit easier. The place was super clean and they make your beds for you every day! And obviously the amazing staff, specially Enis and Elio. Thank you!

The room had an incredible view of the Basilica di San Lorenzo and the Duomo. The kitchen was well-equipped and even included an espresso machine that was free to use. It also had a nice balcony in the back. Some of the other guests were loud and obnoxious, although that's not the hostel's fault.
