Lovely place to stay and very convenient for touring & train travel. We stay there every annual visit. The breakfast is wonderful as well. The AC very comfortable during the heat wave! I will say the rates have almost doubled and are not reasonable for a basic room.

The hotel was in a perfect location next to Plaza Santa Maria, which made it an easy walk to all of the downtown Florence historic sites and excellent restaurants. The room was large and accommodating for 4 adults. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. There was a decent free breakfast and a couple great restaurants and wine bars were within a 3 minute walk. It wasn’t a 4 star hotel, but it was a very good 3 star hotel.

Great location and breakfast. The air conditioning wasn’t working well. The temperature was 16°F higher than normal when we were there. After a long day out in the sun we wanted a cool room to return to and sleep in.

Excellent location

Location is really excellent next to the Santa Maria Novella square. Walkable to all the main venues. Great restaurants in the area and even just across the street. Room was small. Needed to sit on toilet sideways because knees hit shower stall. Not a huge issue at all and maybe not same in other larger rooms. I travelled solo for work. AC did not work at all but nights were ok with open window. Location excellent and access safe at all times day or night. Great to have parking valet to a close by parking garage. However driving in this restricted zones area is for the very courageous only. I would not do that again because I had many issues as the 3 online apps I used could not properly direct me to the location. (Apple Maps, Google Maps, Wazes). Spent over 90 minutes trying to navigate incorrectly thru many restricted zones with thousands of tourists in the way. Changed location in App to Garage Il Prato and the App was able to guide me there. The parking attendant at the Garage Il Prato baled me out by driving with me to the hotel. He obviously got a great tip from me for saving my butt. Not sure what happened but the Apps had a problem with the signal in the area near the hotel so they were taking me thru impossible roads and changing directions constantly. Nothing to do with the hotel. Just the map Apps.

Perfect central location to the sights and proximity to the train/bus station. Perfect room for 4 people, very comfortable, fantastic hot tub for nice relaxation after walking 20,000 steps! Amazing breakfast with great variety! They even have a free happy hour on a certain day and time ? The only thing we didn't like is the mosquitoes that were coming in from a high window which we couldn't close. However, we forgot to ask reception to assist us with closing. I'm sure they would have helped!

The location is very convenient to the public transportation and the places of interest. The breakfast was quite good. I was satisfied with my hotel room in every aspect. The staff were friendly and helpfully. Thanks! Nothing to complain.
