great view from the roof ,room was nice and first person we meet was good upon check out they required a city tax!!! no big deal, but i paid it once i checked in. the second person at the counter at check out said no i did not pay it and required payment before checking out. i paid so i could make our train to rome, it took me the whole train trip to calm down. beware of this scam at this hotel!

I liked that it was close to everything we wanted to do. The a/c does not work. They have mini splits and do not work well.

Great location; close to the train station and the Academia. Wonderful breakfast. Rooftop terrace.

It was spotless, close to everything and the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful.

Location was great, very convenient. In the middle of the Florence historic Center. Easy to walk everywhere. It was very clean and staff was very responsive. They accommodated us based on our needs. We had booked the Toscany tour and had to leave before breakfast. They prepared breakfast to go for us. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. We will book the same hotel if we come back to Florence. N/A

Splendid hotel near the Centre. Best is the terrace with a stunning view of Florence, good for evening drinks. Definitely a special bonus. The young lady at the terrace bar was wonderful. Some older guys at the reception were grumpy. Rooms are fine but they can be noisy depending on where you stay. Some renovation is going on for parts of the hotel and room views can be to the courtyyard and potential construction.

It was quiet inside the hotel. Breakfast was varied and plentiful buffet choice. We could walk to the centre and the river in 10-15 minutes and it was equally close to the main station. We enjoyed our drink at the rooftop bar.

I like the location and the rooms Nothing

Room was simple and clean would be nice if there is small table or shelving next to mirror to put vanity stuff since bathroom too small and only sink with no cabinet and no hook to hang towels. Breakfast was good, the staff whose serve us every morning she is nice lady and refill food when empty. Location superb !!! we just walk to every where in the town. Roof top was nice !! Bathroom too small and no hook. But water pressure was good.

Room was very clean, reception was friendly, comfortable bed and pillow, good breakfast. Located at busy street that didn't feel like a safe location, very nosy at night from cars and people. open shower stall that automatically leave a wet floor, slippery marble shower base - especially dangerous for seniors who can't balance well.

The location is great. Staff very accommodating. Rooftop is their best feature I didn’t like the room we had for 5 nights. This was our second time and first time we had nice view this time we were looking at a terrible court yard with construction going on. Ok for one or 2 night not 5. Rooftop is not accessible in morning.

Great location, cleanliness, good staff, great breakfasts, good lift, good security - safe. Amenities close. Good restaurants right across the street. Laundrymat down the block. 2 blocks from train station. Mosquitoes in my room kept me awake and bit me on my face. These windows need screens.

Wonderful and safe location, good elevator. They were able to hold our luggage before and after check-in. The breakfast was more filling than I expected so thrilled the roof top was open, both to enjoy the bar at night and the peacefulness during the day. Liked having a tiny balcony to keep our door open for a fresh breeze! Really enjoyed Ginny (bar) and the nighttime host (dark hair, glasses, dark outfit). Both were extremely friendly and helpful. And next door to a €1.19 store; beer, drinks, snacks, souvenirs… similar to a Dollar Tree in the United States. The pillows and bed were hard as a rock. It would be nice to have softer pillow options.

The rooms were very nice and clean. Good beds. The Hotel was quiet and there were lovely breakfast options. The location, close to the train station and 15 min. from the airport was wonderful. I was able to walk to most everything I wanted to see. Good restaurants right across the street and a laundromat just a few steps down the block. As an older traveler, I was glad there was an elevator. I loved my stay here and would book this hotel again. At night I was kept awake by mosquitoes and my grandson and I were bitten a lot. I couldn't cover my face in order to breathe and I was bitten several times on my face. I think this hotel should maybe invest in some screens because if a traveler is used to sleeping in a cool room and wants the window open, the bugs are a problem.

The roof top bar was a pleasant place to go in the evening to have a drink and see the city view . The friendliness of the staff. The European style breakfast was generous and most filling. I don’t believe there was really anything I could say that I found at fault.
