Location is incredible and such an amazing value bit warm

No air conditioning, small room,share bathroom with other guess,not clean and people not professional at all.

Loved this cute place. The whole place is filled with antiques and art. The room was big, had AC, a nice bed, and small sink. Super nice staff, very acommodating. I booked this last minute and the price was fantastic. So close to everything you need in Florence. Could not have been happier with this find. The shared bathrooms are kept well and seem clean. There is a coffee machine in the hallway. Nothing! But keep in mind it's on the 4th floor with lots of stairs

Location No air conditioning and No elevator

The location is excellent. It's right in the city center, but far enough from the busiest tourist crowds to feel more relaxed. With just a short walk, you're in the heart of everything, while still enjoying a quieter atmosphere around the hotel. The room was quite different from what we expected based on the listing. The bathroom setup felt impractical, with the shower located in the room itself, a separate sink area, and a very small toilet cubicle with an opaque glass door. It lacked the privacy and comfort I would normally expect from a hotel room. Although this was one of the more affordable options available, €162 per night still felt expensive for what was offered. Overall, the experience felt more like staying in a hostel than in a hotel. Thankfully, we only stayed one night.

Great staff and very attentive (water fountain stopped working and they got it fixed right away)! Great location as well, very walkable to everything you could want to do! The rooms were SO HOT. The shower in front of the bed made it so humid it was terrible, and there was no dehumidifier in the rooms either when it was definitely needed. ALSO, the showers went from ice cold to boiling hot.

I had an incredible stay at Souvenir Maya! The place was beautiful, super clean, and located within walking distance of the city’s main attractions, which made exploring so easy. The neighborhood also felt very safe, especially as a solo female traveler. I booked a room with a shared bathroom and was a little concerned at first, but everything was spotless at all times. There are multiple bathrooms available, so it was always convenient and never crowded. The whole place has such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Andrea was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. I was lucky enough to manage an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated after arriving in the city. He also kindly allowed me to leave my luggage for a long time after check-out. You can genuinely tell how much he cares about his guests. He shared the fascinating history of the accommodation with me and was kind enough to show me the rooftop view of the building, which was absolutely stunning. I honestly wouldn’t think twice about booking this place again for my next trip to Florence. Highly recommended!

the Staff is Exceptional in it's kindness and Heart Felt Desires to make one's Stay the Most Comfortable and Convenient Possible: it is Evident they match the Owners Incredible Kindness and Good Hearts: Real People, Real Hearts, Real SERVICE: the Rooms Were Absolutely SPOTLESS ( I changed 2 rooms and both were super super clean: I mean Super..). And they are Most Accomodating and Helpful: Truly A Real Experience. And Then Comes The Cherry on the Cake: the Most Amazing RoofTop With a 360° VIEW of The ENTIRE CITY ..it TRULY TOOK MY BREATH AWAY.. This Experience has Truly felt So Lovely All Around and it simply warms up the Heart and feeds the Soul to meet such Great Good People with Great Positive Energy doing Great Work. I Give Them All a 10++++++!! I Will be back, no Doubts.. Thank you So People, You Rock!!! Can't think of even 1 thing ..

Road outside was quite noisy at times.

Super staff and location good. Overrated for lack of comforts, third floor haul and tiny bath with no hand towels or frills.

Nothing ,all disaster The the shower wasn’t clean now it was very old Just two small towels wasn’t Clean and when I walk barefoot on the ground of the room, I feel the sound on the wall of the window (almost going to fall down) The owner has two apartment in two different buildings and both of them in third floor without elevator The check in in the first building so you have to go up with your luggage and then you go down going forward to the next building and then up again to the 3th floor with your luggage Miserable

Decorations are very fashionable, not modern, but creates an amazing atmosphere. You can feel, that all the details are taken into account. Location is great - very close to the center and historical cultural places. Amazing time there, definitely will come back

It is very well located for all the tourist attractions in Florence and is close to the train station. I loved the free tea section they have for guests. The only thing I didn't like was that the elevator doesn't work for guests, so we had to use the stairs with our suitcases. However, the entire stay was great.

Cheap price 5th floor with no elevator

The showers were awful. Parts were broken, there was no water pressure, and they were not as clean as they should have been. This was a major problem in all of the shared bathrooms. A very unpleasant experience.

Close to major attractions SO MANY MOSQUITOES! Too many stairs

An unexpected little gem! It felt like my own apartment for my 10 days in the city! The owner was in redline and helpful. Nothing. It was perfect!

Very helpful staff. Nice location. Comfortable bed!! There should be directions on how to use the espresso machine!!
