Homewood Suites by Hilton Florence

Never disappointed staying in a Homewood Suites hotel. Great staff, clean and wonderful breakfast.

Nice clean hotel that convenient for travel along I-95. Large rooms that are fairly new and close proximity to dining options.

I had requested a room on the lowest level near the exit because I was travelling with two dogs. Upon check-in, I was given a room on ground level next to a door that exited to the parking lot, which made my stay extremely helpful. All the staff that I had interactions with were extremely polite and helpful. The surrounding area was nice and easily accessible to restaurants, gas, stores, and right at the 95 exit. I'll def stay here again on my travels.

Overall the hotel was great, wonderful, clean, spacious room - didn't get a chance to go to the pool while we were there, but everything looked very nice - great location/close to alot of restaurants, stores, etc. breakfast was good, however alot of the food had run out during most of the time we were down for breakfast and although we waited for 20-30 minutes, most still wasn't replenished or had run out as soon as they put it out due to people waiting, they were out of silverware and syrup as well.

the staff was Rude and the room floor was sticky and when told they said what you want me to do about it when we checked into room there was a wet spot on couch that looked to be semen .

The location was ok. The rooms were good size and clean. The beds were very uncomfortable but especially the sofa bed. We all woke up in excruciating pain which was very disappointing after needing a good nights sleep after traveling over 14 hours in the car and then needing to continue our drive the next morning with back pain from the horrible beds. We were also told we couldn’t get any more pillows or blankets for our stay. Which was very frustrating as well.

Breakfast was delicious. The ladies kept everything so nice and clean at all the food and beverage stations. Food was prepared and replenished and never left empty. The pulled chicken was surprising good and not dry. My breakfast burrito was delicious with salsa verde. I was crying a little on the inside because there was no oatmeal. We always stay with Hilton hotels for the oatmeal. But the grits were good too with some butter. I do wish we got more towels. We have to tell how many people are staying, so we should get the same number of bath towels. We stayed at Homewood Suites on the way up North, and back down. Both times was the same - not enough towels. The gym was nice. And we were surprised to find a basketball court at this property.

Booked this stay along with a stay the week prior. Zero issues the week prior wish I could say the same for this stay. After 9hours of travel arrive at the hotel after 8pm to find our reservation had been cancelled due to a credit card issue. No phone call no email no nothing. When we left the week prior I confirmed the reservation with the desk and asked for my Hilton information to be added to the next stay the desk agent assured me it was. Well guess what it was not and we had zero luck finding a room in Florence for the night. Ended up driving to Fayetteville and got two rooms for less than what I would have paid and better Hilton property. Will never use this hotel again.

Clean, inviting after a long day of driving. Room in excellent condition
