great staff

Listen guys, I stayed the night before at a different hotel in LIC, rated very well but it was just ok and the bed was like a board. So the next night; I just came to my senses and spent a little more, not much more, and came The Westin. The rooms are clean and gorgeous, the bed is 5 star alone, and the staff was helpful and the parking was valet at $50, which in NY is amazing, in my opinion. There is nothing to complain about, and the area is safe. Just book The Westin and stop reading reviews.

The hotel was very clean beds comfortable Staff could of been more friendly and helpful at check in, bit more guidance to find rooms upon arrival as I was just handed the key card with no directions.

Great rooms if you got assigned a regular one. Restaurant food was LOVELY. Shuttle worked well. Cross that the other party with us got assigned an accessibility room. Not a great shower and it felt like we were taking it away from someone who needed one.

AC wasn’t working… thermostat said 65 but it wasn’t true. Hallways weren’t cooled and other guests we chatted to had the same experience. Thin walls and doors slamming all night. Crazy bright white smoke alarm light flashing erratically in the corner of the room all night. Comfortable bed and clean, but didn’t sleep a wink due to temp and light issue. valet also “lost” our car… we had to self identify it even once eventually found the keys. It was jammed behind 4 cars, an hour long for the whole process.
