Relais Metelli

The bed was super comfortable, the staff was warm & friendly and the location close to the train station and yet very safe neighborhood. All in all a beautiful property.

Location is very central, close the train station and restaurants. Not many amenities

They let us check in early which was great because I was exhausted when I arrived. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices, meat, cheese, eggs, fruit, fresh pastry, breads, 4 kinds of juice, and it was served from 7-10 am. They also had umbrellas that we could use which was handy because it was raining while we were there. They had parking for our car. The hotel was walking distance to the main square, train station and restaurants. It was in a good location. The room was small and not a lot of places to store our large suitcases. The chairs in the room were uncomfortable.

I liked everything.

We stayed at Relais Metelli for two nights in the deluxe double room while attending a friend’s wedding and had a lovely experience. The hotel is clean, stylish, and very well maintained. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We had breakfast at the hotel both mornings and found the selection to be modest but satisfying — fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast, and preserves. Hot options like scrambled eggs were available at an additional cost. The staff were attentive and kind, checking in to make sure our coffee orders were correct and even preparing a tray of small sandwiches for us as requested before we headed to the wedding. The location is good — just a short walk to Foligno’s main square with shops and restaurants, and only a minute from the main train station, making it very convenient for travel. One small point to note — we found that taxis in Foligno tend to charge quite high fares. It might be worth the hotel considering offering their own shuttle or transport service for guests in the future, which could be a great added convenience.

Unlike so many places to stay in this part of the world, Relais Metelli’s bed, its plush towels, its full sized mirror so one can see oneself fully dressed; its elevator access and spacious delightfully decorated common areas, as well as a delightful front garden oasis, exceeded expectations. Situated minutes away from the shops and numerous noteworthy restaurants and minutes away from Foligno’s train station, made this a real find. Bravo to Francesco, Marcia, Sara and Ricardo for the attention to every detail after the warmest of welcomes. Gracie mille and we hope to return. Nothing

The hotel is very much clean and my room is comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is extremely good. Breakfast is poor.

We loved how kind the staff were. The room was comfortable and clean. Location was ideal- very close to the train station and city center. We would definitely stay here again!

The area is beautiful. Filled with tree lined streets and easily accessible to shops and restaurants. Not a thing.

We had the room with the balcony and it was amazing. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The property is close to what ever you need to do. I honestly cannot think of anything I didn’t like.
