The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Imperial Palace However, apart from its décor, which is on a par with a five-star hotel, the hotel has no other advantages. The breakfast on offer is not up to the standard of a three-star hotel; the coffee machine is faulty and needs to be manually restarted after every cup, and there is only one member of staff serving breakfast. The rooms on the fourth floor are very poor; the lift does not go directly to the fourth floor, so you have to change lifts on the second floor. Outside the window were the hotel’s air-conditioning units, which were extremely noisy; they could be heard even with the windows closed, severely disrupting sleep. The hotel does not have its own car park, so guests have to carry their luggage to a public car park; the prices charged are not commensurate with the service provided for a five-star hotel.

Very overpriced for what it gives, especially during times when there's events. Rooms are on the small side and a little bit old

Great ambiance, fully renovated, wonderful swimmingpool

Hotel and Location are great The room, despite being a suite was very small

Clean, tidy and staff were very helpful. Parking was not good and resulted in our car being damaged.

Very good location. Good style and confortable room Coffee machine is outdated. Room was quite small.

Location, elegant furnishings. Day bed in the room A/c on the fritz. Wasn’t acknowledged until I bugged the front desk 3 times. Spa was difficult to book. I didn’t arrive in a bathroom as my room lacked one. I had to return to room to await delivery. Dumb. Front desk did not have a map of town and was unsure about palace visiting.

The breakfast was so bad, we had to go to a neighbouring hotel to have a proper breakfast! The hotel cannot event fry an egg!!! At dinner time, they did not have enough dinner for all the people in the hotel either!

Great location across from the chateau. Charming entree and parking really nearby. The cleaning lady saved the say for the hotel because she did her best to care for me when i was sick (while the rest of the hotel staff didn't). The room was just too small. I could barely walk around the bed. The bathroom is ridiculously small, i felt like i was in a caravan or something. Also, the bar staff and restaurant staff was not very attentive. One day I was ill and I asked in the evening for a lump of bread with some 'confiture', and I was told they didn't have that on the menu. i explained that I couldn't eat normally because of digestion issues and asked to make an exception and please just give me some bread to chew on, and it took me 10 minutes to convince them. The big problem was 'we can't put that on your bill because it's not in our system'. i told them to charge it as a breakfast to me. Answer:'but it's the evening'. All in all completely oblivious to the circumstances. On the other hand, when the cleaning lady found me sick in bed, she was super helpful, and offered me all kinds of help to be better (water, food, even to go to the pharmacy for me) The cleaning lady had a much better attitude than the bar staff. The restaurant at breakfast was super uncomfortable: it was dead silent (they forgot to put on some music or so) and the staff was continuously whispering to each other... very weird.

No slippers or tooth brush

Location. Well appointed. Choice of pillows (not firm enough). Once the comfortable was removed, we felt more comfortable with the temperature of the room.

Location The staff

We asked for an extra blanket but they said it isn’t available. And I stayed for 4 nights and the toiletries (like lotions and other amenities) were not replenished during my stay. I ran out of them by the last day, which was inconvenient.

Location very good Confusion by staff

Location, new build, friendly staff, good service Room was very small, price very high. And the water bottle they left in my room was filthy with mold and I almost drank it
-
On check out the staff was not professional , The had preauthorization on my card for incidentals and the value was more than my bill , I have asked him to use the preauthorized code and he said no ? His response was that the preauthorization is a security for any damage in the room? Which I never had with hotels?? So used my card again to cover incidentals , I was in a rush to go to the airport and I had no choice but to do it

We liked everything. The spa facilities were just fantastic after a long day walking. Being able to go for a private swim with no other guests allowed in your booked slot was so relaxing. The sauna and hammam were nice but the pool was really long and narrow. The breakfast was really good - lots of options with pastries, fruit, cheeses, meats, bacon, scrambled egg, sausage, pancakes as well as tea options and coffee. The location was absolutely brilliant with the bus from the train station dropping us off virtually outside the hotel and it was a walk across the road to enter the Fontainebleau grounds, starting in the Gardens of Diana. The staff were lovely as well, especially Camile who gave us a very friendly welcome and smile every time we walked back into the hotel. The room temperature could not be adjusted using the air conditioning controls. That was the only downside.
