Best Western Carowinds

The rooms was clean, the shower water pressure was excellent, the continental breakfast was satisfying, the staff was friendly, and the hotel was nice and quiet. Easy to drive to Carowinds from the hotel. Location is great!

Hotel manager wouldn’t honor my reservation due to it being a handicap accessible room and my family not being handicap

I stayed here for four nights with my son while we were in South Carolina. The room was clean, housekeeping staff was incredible and the front desk people were also very friendly. On top of that, they have the best continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again

The property is very old, not updated at all. The photos look much better than the hotel. The location is near the theme park but it’s back in a dark alley where I didn’t feel comfortable parking my car. The staff is terrible. I waited 10 minutes just for someone to come to the desk so I could check in.

I was quite shocked when we walked into the very outdated lobby. But I figured it was time for bed and all we needed was a good nights sleep. When we walked into the room we were hit with the strong smell of cigarette smoke. I called the front desk but was informed the whole property was non-smoking (obviously not). I was then told we could not switch room because mom husband had sat on the bed. 😳 We went to sleep and got up early to leave asap. Very disappointing hotel. Save yourself some disappointment and don’t book here!

It's a decent hotel, but you get what you pay for. Breakfast was average at best. The eggs weren't very good. It was a decent place for the price. I'd find a better place near Carowinds next time.

Property was fine. Location was great. Breakfast was always the same but consistent. Would stay again.

Close to everything we needed Got bites all over me and had an allergic reaction in the beds, hotels never have substitute pillows

Convenient location, although lots of traffic noise next to the main highway. Front desk staff and housekeeping were wonderful and helpful. breakfast selection was very good…eggs, sausage , pastries, waffles. Some fruit and yogurt. Cereal. Pretty much a good variety. Property is older and needs some updating, but clean and comfortable. Age of the facility

Very outdated and the room was stale. Smelled like it was closed up for a little bit with no airflow. Pay the extra $20 to stay somewhere much nicer. Also, tucked in a corner lot with nothing really around.
