Both breakfast and dinner are superb and authentic. The room is comfortable. The view is excellent. The price is a bit pricey.

This was more than just a hotel stay—it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my trip to Japan. Every detail was perfect, from the warm hospitality to the peaceful atmosphere and stunning surroundings. The staff made me feel truly welcome, and staying here allowed me to experience the beauty of Japanese culture in such a special way. Great location and nice amenities I understand it is a policy to charge customers for a lost key card.. front desk staff did. When we returned the card in an hour for refund ( 1000 yen), they refused and stated “transaction finished” - different staff on. We used google translate as no one spoke English at the desk. I asked for a print out of our transactions at the desk, they refused and no email receipt either. I waited 15 minutes for them to call the manager to refund my money! Also , their credit card machine did not” work” for my travel visa and had to use another Visa.. I called my credit card company and they stated the issue was at their end and nothing wrong with my card not at any other vendor in all of Japan. Disappointed for over 600 ( Can) a night.

The property had a warm and authentic Japanese atmosphere. The food was excellent, the onsen was relaxing, and the staff were very welcoming. It was a memorable and enjoyable ryokan experience.

It was very spacious and welcoming, everything was very clean and well maintained. We loved the onsens and the breakfast served was amazing. Would definitely stay again! I think because it was a ryokan style hotel, the tv was an old-ish one with no Netflix, and WiFi was not very fast as well. Also there was a welcome green tea bag in the teapot but the tea tasted old. We requested for ice bucket but it’s also chargeable.

The breakfast was very decadent. I stayed in a room with an open air bath facing the lake. It was a birthday visit and it absolutely blew me away. The room is spacious and gives off a refined, quiet luxury. I was very happy with the design of the whole hotel and how helpful the staff was from check in to check out. It was all enjoyable. The fish guts for breakfast was the only weird thing.

Very close to the main station. We had a good view of Mt.fuji from the window of our room. And we were in front of lake kawaguchiko. The room is very large and comfortable. Will Recommend!!

Its located in front of a major highway so theres a lot of noise pollution. You can probably do better with the same price range

The hotel is located right by the side of the lake and is a walking distance to the bus station. The breakfast is is excellent. It is hard to see mountain Fiji from the hotel.
