If you like medieval style of sleeping and enjoy having neck and back pain this is the place for you

We were there for two nights. The location is very walkable, being like a 1 minute walk to the lake and a 10-15 minute walk to the train station and all the good restaurants around there. The food at the hotel was so good and it was really fun to have the full kaiseki course meal served in our room. The breakfast buffet had a lot of different options for food. The onsen was perfect! It's mostly indoors, with the hot springs, cold bath and sauna, but there is also a small hot springs pool on an outdoor balcony. We also had massages at the spa and they were amazing. We stayed in the Japanese-Style Room with Open-Air Bath and Lake View and it was fun. I don't know if I would book this room again, as the futons were rough to sleep on the floor for more than two nights. I'd book a western bed style room next time. However, it was a cool experience for the first time.

Friendly staff serviced dinner. The experience was great great. Breakfast has a lot of choices, definitely a 10/10. Mount Fuji view is great. The location is next to Lake Kawaguchi. A walk around the lake in the morning was relaxing. Options for dinner is less than expected, but it is a 8/10. For mount-view rooms with private in-room onsen, the privacy is not good.

We loved this location so much. The staff was exceptional and made our honeymoon so special. The room was beyond amazing and the treatment of guests was more than I’d imagined. We will stay here again in the future.

I can't say enough about this beautiful property the amazing staff and location. 11/10. Hospitality, staff, cleanliness, traditional, suite-level size, onsen. I'd only wished I had the appetite and energy to join them for dinner and breakfast before departing. Everyone was friendly and the most hospitable. The front desk made a Taxi reservation for me in the morning to take me to golf. The location was amazing being on Lake Kawaguchiko. The men's onsen looking at Mt. Fuji was incredible. I would go back to Japan just to stay at this property and visit with the staff. N/a

Very nice location and clean rooms. Hostess was amazing Pricing was a little bit on the higher side. Bike arrangement will be fantastic.
