The bed was a little hard

The Japanese and Western breakfast were really delicious but I prefer the Japanese breakfast. Just like any hotel in Japan, the room wasn't so spacious but Toyoko Inn's room was decent and comfortable. What I really like : - The Japanese breakfast - Shuttle bus always on time (in my experience) so it is very easy to reach the station or back to hotel - Convenience store is nearby - Coffee, tea, drinking water dispenser at any time - Cleanliness nothing

Breakfast was delicious, western and Japanese offerings. The best thing was the friendly courier service that took us to their Mishima branch right beside the station that we took to our next stop. Would definitely stay again!

The room we have was a little small for 2 persons but it's okay for short stay.

The room was extremely clean and tidy. Had more space on the toilet in comparisson wiht other hotels I stayed in Japan. Air conditioner was very good considering the weather was warm and humidy, becoming something very important for this time of the year (May). The shuttle bus to the train station made a huge difference as we had some heavy luggage and my wife was pregnant. Staff was a bit unfriendly and I don't know if they ware being racist or just didn't have a good english. Tried to asked a guy on the recption about taxi services and he said it wouldn't be available for the time I wanted it, but when I got to the room, I was ab;e to book a taxi very easily through Uber. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have seen Mount Fuji early in the morning from the pagoda. Internet was terrible and bed is not too comfortable.

Breakfast was delicious, different from what usually have and grape jellies was the highlight. All was well.

Water temperature is unstable. Opening a large bag is difficult.

Very comfortable hotel with great value for money. The room was clean, cozy, and much better than expected for the price. I also liked the free amenities, free breakfast, and free shuttle service. Having coin laundry inside the hotel was very convenient for travelers. The location is also great — bicycle rental is nearby, and there is a comfortable public onsen within walking distance. Affordable price but the hotel definitely does not feel cheap at all. Would happily stay here again. Nothing major. The hotel location is a little far from Kawaguchiko Station if walking with luggage, but the free shuttle service helps a lot.

The hotel does not have a laundry station, the breakfast was no that good, they have a couple of options but not that good. And the mattress was very hard.

Free parking with simple breakfast included Need more fresh, raw salad vegetables. Some sushi maybe good.

Couldn't find any other that can compete with consider the price vs comfortable and location. Very new with Fuji view , bed is very comfortable A bit small even twin room already for family with toddler but manageable. Breakfast is same everyday but not a big problem.

The hotel is in walking range of the lake; for the station the free shuttle service is best, but avoid peak hours if you have luggage. I also enjoyed the free shuttle to other Tokoyo inns, it adds value if you are planning to travel to Gotemba or other areas. Breakfast is served until 9am in two buildings A and B, but at 8.40am in building B, the food was consistently running out and not being refilled. This felt unpleasant and I ended up going to building A despite my personal preference. If this is about avoiding leftovers, you could close kitchen B earlier and bring the leftovers to building A.
