Kawaguchiko Park Hotel

No views of lake or mt Fuji from the hotel, but we weren’t really there except to sleep so it didn’t matter.

It is close to some good restaurants, bus stop near by, has onsen, a massage service nearby to release fatigue.

Quiet location within walking distance to train station and great places to get a view of Mt Fuji. The onsen was nice and had both indoor and outdoor options. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really close to a fabulous Indian restaurant. No towels in the onsen and added fees for each guest to use the onsen even if you didn't use it. Really tiny bathrooms that are a challenge for tall people.

Staff spoke great English and were very accommodating. Check in and out were smooth and they allowed luggage holding until check in time. There was a QR code online guide in multiple languages and it was helpful. The onsen was excellent and the hotel provided all amenities associated. There was free coffee and soda. The room was large and had a nice window and excellent included toiletries.

the outdoor onsen is better than expected, I have a relaxed time over there. Free refreshments are available which is great. The tiny bathroom stuffed with 10 big full size bottles of personal care stuff is a bit much and make the counter top no space left....

Everything was amazing. It wasn’t my first choice to stay in Kawaguchiko tho but for those who have same doubts whether this place would be worth it… it is worth it! Onsen is available and the location is superb. I will definitely come back! Zeroooo

Well located and traditional looking with quite spacious rooms.

The shower required a pretty high step in our room but it wasn’t an issue for us. The staff were so pleasant and they were a big highlight of this hotel.

Quiet, with free coffee in the morning and juice after Onsen,walking distance to restaurant and grocery,friendly staff and there was a shuttle bus pick up back and forth! Nothing unlikable,everything was perfect !

This was our first time in Japan hence I have no baseline for reference. I would think the breakfast was traditional in my context and my family and I were very pleased with the experience and service rendered during breakfast. Overall, the place was great and met my family needs. Not that I can think of

Next day, we were waiting at the lobby while it's raining and the staff offered us umbrella to bring. They also provide free shuttle bus ride to Kawaguchiko station from 9 AM - 10 AM but you have to let them know the day before. This hotel also have onsen, make sure you give it a try when staying. For the location, closest bus stops are number 3 (near Ogino supermarket) and 5 (Kawaguchiko herb hall) About onsen tax, I think they should've informed us from the moment we check in, not when checking out.

Clean. Japanese style room. Nice balcony with window. Showers were great. Very good customer service. Hot springs were clean and well maintained. Nice toilets

Nice location, easy access to town. No restaurant except for breakfast, which wasn’t very good. Having to step up into the bathroom was very annoying.

Onsen, massage chairs, excellent breakfast, location, great service staff.

Clean room and helpful staffs. Too far walk from the main station.

Authentic japanese style breakfast, so lovely. No place to hang the washed cloth. Onzen, just found a person standing to take bath and shampoo and those shampoo falling down to onzen pool.

Nice four story hotel. The hot springs area that is separated for men and women was a nice bonus. For Japan, the staff was a little nicer than average and their English was a little better than average. I forgot something at checkout and the shuttle bus did an extra trip fo us. nothing I can think of.
