Beautiful inn and the food was wonderful. The Onsen was deeply healing and relaxing. Can't think of anything, it was a truly lovely and peaceful respite after a busy week in Tokyo.

The size of our room was really comfortable, the kaiseki dinner and breakfast was really sophisticated and tasty, we could also taste many kind of sake. The owner and the staff (also family members) was friendly. The water in the small onsen was very good for the body. After checkout we received an omiyage. I believe, this ryokan has seen better days, and deserves a major renovation. There was a misunderstanding in the communication (before our arrival in a heavy rain), which should be quicker and based on internet data (concerning for ex. the train schedule). In the onsen area under the shower there was mold, so the cleaning should be also improved.

Gorgeous location with spectacular views of the snow capped peaks. Very nice homey feeling. Loved the cats. Local town was sweet and fun to explore. The bedroom was very nice tatami room with fine details. The kitchen is good. We were able to cook with plenty kitchen ware. All good.

From the moment we were picked up by the owner of this family owned ryokan, we felt like we were home. Owners & their son were super friendly and helpful with everything. Spacious room with comfortable blankets and pillows. Breakfast and dinner were as good as we had expected. We liked the outdoor onsen very much. Nothing.

Other guests were smoking outside the hotel which made the smell very unpleasant, suggesting the hotel to restrict the area of smoking to reduce disturbance to non smoking guests,. Otherwise the hotel is excellent.

Very clean, very authentic, good food, nice staff. The food was really tasty and we got to try lots of new things. It is family run and the hosts were so amazingly welcoming. Recommend anytime! The Onsen was nice and clean. If it is not really busy, they will convert one of their Onsens into a private Onsen for you as a couple.

Onsen bath was really nice and the Ryokan allowed us to bathe together as a couple. There was no dinner provided at the Ryokan so we didn't get the full experience we were looking for.

The hotel is really cozy and comfortable. The hostess is kind to us and offers us a drive to the station. The onsen is great and breakfast is great. We had a great time here and will come here again next time! No

Very friendly host. Rooms are not fancy but comfortable enough with everything you need. Onsen is one of the best I’ve experienced. Also love the miso soup in the breakfast, very tasty.

The staff were very homely and friendly, and never failed to engage us whenever we were having our meals. They also shared with us places to go around the area and were always helpful! nil
