Flandria Hotel

Nothing! The building is very outdated, it smells after malt, it's dirty and it was the worst experience we ever made. On top of this, there is no ventilation and it was really hot. It was really not possible to sleep there, so we left and went in a other hotel. We tried to ask our money back for the room, but the stuff was really unpolite.

The room was very nice and had a beautiful view of the cathedral from the side and back of the Cathedral. It had insect screen which allows to have the window open to enjoy the cool breeze. The location is very nice as well. It is near the Cathedral but also far enough to enjoy some peace and quite. The main 'access' road is not very accommodating to pedestrians and can be even dangerous as motorists and especially cyclists are very incompetent. However, its not the hotel's fault. You will notice this pattern throughout the city.

Good but the location isn’t giving To small I mean the toilets aren’t in the room

The bathroom was quite large. Breakfast was fine. The room was quite small. Also, a renovation of the room should be considered.

The breakfast was great and the location of the hotel is fantastic! The bed was super uncomfortable, the water pressure in the shower is terrible, almost impossible to use the shower! The room was always full of mosquitoes!

The bathroom was moisty and the shower was leaking.

A basic hotel but which offers most facilities - TV, wifi, private bathroom - that I would expect of any hotel with the plus point of a very central location. Friendly staff available to help out and breakfast is available. Room and bathroom are compact, in line with the price, and would be tight for two people sharing.

The couple who owns the accommodation were absolutely wonderful and so friendly and pleasant. The facility was beautiful and the beds were so comfortable! The views were amazing and the area was so safe. Highly recommend this place! The breakfast was delicious as well!

Steep stairs but only a minor consideration. Staff were very helpful in dealing with them. I only mention it for people who may have difficulty with stairs.

did not receive good communication how to enter or passkey until i borrowed a phone and called, wrong room key it opened the room next to the one i booked which had someone in. beds was it comy,room outdated bathroom tiles was loose. tv stopped working in the night.

It is very good! The hotel was very welcome and warm! It is situated in the center of the city!

Locatios is amazing! Design and details are lovely. Seems they are renovating and it worth it. Breakfast was very good, customer service was lovely. Bed was delicious!

The bathroom had fungus on the walls.

Exceptional

-Friendly receptionist and communicative -Room size is actually for a single person. The double bed makes it extremely small. -Right in the city centre. Everything is so close. -I booked and paid for a room with TV, but there was no TV in it (due to new TV arrivals)! No one informed me in advance and it's not professional to apologise after the customer notices it. No compensation. -Problems with the Wi-Fi. I had access to it for 1 day. Afterwards, problems occurred. Again, no information regarding fixes. Without a TV and Wi-Fi the hotel part of the trip is already ruined.

Great location, walking distance from tram and centre of town. Friendly staff and quiet despite road works outside. Would recommend.

Great, clean room for two people. Fantastic large bathroom. Only about three minutes from a main square, so very central but in a quiet area. Very friendly staff who gave us a kettle when we asked for one. Luggage storage was easy. When the room next door uses the water it makes a humming and then a banging noise.
