The location was amazing, 5 minutes from the center, the staff were very friendly and the guesthouse itself very comfortable and clean Everything was great, but maybe would be better to add a mosquito net on the window in the bathroom as well

It’s a perfect spot that is centrally located Nothing

Great location, large comfortable room (great bed and A/C), lovely host. Appreciated being able to keep our bikes in the courtyard. Super cute dogs. Very weak WiFi kept dropping. Not a problem for us, but be aware that there are 2 flights of stairs to climb.

Great location in the city center. Everything was organized for us before our arrival. We didn’t see anyone and everything went smooth

Room and location were great, nice to have A/C in the summer weather.

The neighborhood and the hotel are extremely quiet and peaceful. Amazing stay, check in was easy and quick. Each room has a name, the staff leave a box labeled with your room name (you'll get an email telling you exactly which room was assigned to you) at the reception desk on the ground floor. The box contains the keys to the front door of the building and to your room. Everything was satisfactory. No complaints

The location, very comfortable and cosy, the facilities were very good A little noisy from other people entering the building and their rooms and up and down the stairs, due to the building being very old
-
No breakfast Street noise level

Staff were very nice and helpful, even calling me twice when I had left items behind. I can't fault them. Very friendly. The photos on the website looked so nice, I was very excited to go to this hotel. But - it is no more than a basic pension. The room itself was quite big, plenty of space, but that was all. Not very nicely decorated. The TV had been removed from the wall. The outside of the building was covered in scaffolding, so no view whatsoever. It would have been courteous of the venue to notify us of this prior to arriving. There was a heap of really horrid grime under the tap handle, you lift it up to turn it on and wow!! No fridge in the room. We did locate a communal area where there was a fridge. There was also a very grotty microwave. This place felt like a hostel. The lovely courtyard you see in the photos was full of tools and general junk. No care at all taken with the appearance of this place. Also not that easy to locate, there is no signage to say it's called Piano Guest House, should be called guess house! Well overpriced for the quality.

We loved the location, an easy walk to the main attractions and exploring Ghent. If you have luggage, the stairs are difficult. There is no lift. We were on the top floor so had to lug our heavy suitcases to the top.

The girl who worked there was lovely and very accommodating, to the point where she showed me where a bus stop was. It was well located and comfortable. The room was tiny bit cold at first, however it was still comfortable
