Location was good, breakfast was good. building very old and not correctly maintained.

A huge complaint and dissatisfaction with the air conditioning system that did not cool at all while the temperature outside reached 38 degrees Celsius. Only one small window that could only be opened a few centimeters. In general, a hotel like this cannot afford such shortcomings.

Location Stuff The hotel is quite old and could really use some renovation. I know it’s not a five-star hotel, but I still believe it needs some refurbishment and upgrades.

Centrally located in beautiful city of Ghent, walking distance to everything! Superb value with lovely facility, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, groovy lounge bar, open air terrace .... all that and a swimming pool! 10/10, would highly recommend and would absolutely stay there again. More variety of bevi selections in their front desk beverage cooler. Beer is great, but so are sparkling wines.

The only problem was the pressure of the water in the bathroom, and the sink was draining slowly. Overall, it was a very good stay at Novotel Gent Centrum.

Very pet friendly……had treats and dog bowls set up when we checked into our room. Great coffee and tea in the lobby. Serda was exceptionally friendly. Pillows were too hard and when I requested softer pillows, they didn’t have them.

The rooms and bathrooms are a bit dated - also, it is a bit weird to have a separate toilet without a sink to wash your hands.

It was very clean and comfortable, location was perfect. Staff was rude and careless. Waited so long for checkin. The worst thing was heating, it was very cold at night, event though we asked them how to warm to room and made all the arrangements for air conditioner it didnt worked and probably we’ll be cold because of this.

Great front seat lady! Location I was great, walking distance with everything. They could clean the shower door rubber seal, the shower pressure was terrible, need the shower head to be replace.

The location is outstanding. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was competent and helpful. Breakfast nice. Nice baggage storage. We also enjoyed a glass of wine in the bar area while we were waiting for our train and it was reasonably priced. Good service in there, too. This is an absolutely fine hotel. Not amazing, but absolutely everything you need in a good location. We would stay here again. Nothing. Everything was fine.

Got a ticket from the city of Ghent for entering the hotel's road with a car. The staff told us that that they'll inform the city giving them our plate so we wouldn't get a ticket but they didn't. Subsequent tries to understand the issue has been frustrating.

Best location to see every thing in a day Is good value for money old building needs carpet to be changed but it didn’t affect our comfort or stay

Location is excellent Airco in room not working, at least 24C in our room and to noisy outside the sleep with the window open. On website they show picture of a super nice dining hall. However, this is only for weddings.
