Vamana Resort

I have stayed in Vamana third time, first it was in 2019 when I went first time on Island. This hotel may be not fanciest, but the staff that works there will make you feel like home. I stayed there every time I visited island and will be staying there again whenever I go back.

It was amazing being beach front with the best snorkeling on the island right in front of the hotel. We saw more turtles at the hotel than on the tours we paid for! Beautiful spot! AC was broken in our first room and it took me asking for two days in the heat to move us. The staff were friendly, but it just seemed very forced and they are not helpful if you need something. Food was ok. I tried to order dinner from the restaurant at 5:30pm one night and they said they were no longer taking orders even though there was a party of 8 eating in the restaurant at the time. The hotel itself is nice, but the experience with the staff is what brought down the rating for us. They just didn’t seem to care about guest experience.

Greatly located and the staff was amazing

The beach is right at your doorstep. The water is so clear and blue. The snorkeling was incredible. The fish and turtles are amazing. The room was perfect. Very quiet which is what we asked for. The pool was lovely. A really lovely resort. Breakfast everyday was so tasty. We enjoyed walking through all the streets and stores. The Island is a perfect size, as we could walk around the entire place. We hired bicycles which I loved. A great way to get around should you choose not to walk. We did not like that horses are used as taxi's. After we realized this, we chose to walk with our luggage. Having said that, Gili Trawangan was one of my favourite places to visit.

An Amazing Experience! Our stay on Tili Trawangan was truly incredible, thanks to the fantastic staff. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the most kind and friendly people. The service we received was exceptional—they took care of everything, making sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing. A special shoutout to Jacky and Yousoup! These two hardworking individuals went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They are not only professional but also incredibly hospitable and caring. Thanks to them, our stay was pure relaxation, and they truly deserve all the praise! The rooms were super clean, and the breakfast was absolutely perfect! The hotel is located directly on the beach, with sunbeds that belong to the hotel, making it easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Plus, you never have to worry about bringing towels, as fresh, clean ones are always available—such a great convenience! If you’re visiting Tili Trawangan, this is the place to stay. An absolute must for anyone looking for outstanding service, a warm welcome, and a stress-free experience. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay unforgettable! The breakfast was really good, rooms are clean. The sea is 5 meters away from then hotel. The staff is really friendly and are always here to help you in case of everything.

Absolutely loved staying at Vamana resort. The staff were so lovely and really looked after us well. The rooms were large clean and very comfortable beds. With lovely smelling towels! The location is perfect. Great turtles and snorkelling right off our beach, with own deck chairs for Vamana and the staff delivering any food and drinks we wanted. We hired bikes for our stay and could easily ride to the sunset side of the island or down to the bars etc. thanks for a lovely holiday. Loved everything

Cosy clean rooms, good aircon, beach right across the street, very welcoming and friendly staff, decent breakfast (fruits, eggs to order, danish croissants, tea coffee). Great location, about 10 mins walk from the harbour so no noise or hustle bustle. Could’ve done with a window in the room! But doesn’t affect the stay at all.

Perfect location on the island, in fact everything was perfect about Vamana Resort..so we decided to stay longer! Nothing.

It was great to wake up every morning and have a wonderful breakfast with Yoseph as our wonderful host! The beach was directly across the street and you can rent bikes to go around the island. Was a perfect location to be away from the party areas but close enough to walk to them when in the mood to party. We didn't know they had a menu for lunch and dinner till we were leaving or we wld of had more dinning there.

Vamana Resort - CHSE Certified is a place that truly deserves the highest praise, mainly thanks to its incredible staff! A special thank you goes to Jackie, who was not only polite and always smiling but also showed exceptional care and professionalism in a difficult moment. My husband got injured while snorkeling, and Jackie immediately stepped in, offering assistance and providing everything needed to take care of him quickly. Thanks to him, we felt well cared for and at ease during this stressful situation. The hotel itself is perfectly located—close to the port, which is very convenient, and just a step outside, you can start snorkeling in the beautiful reef. Encountering colorful fish and majestic turtles was an unforgettable experience. However, it was the service, especially Jackie, that made our stay truly exceptional. If you’re looking for a place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and rely on outstanding care, Vamana Resort is the perfect choice!

I highly recommend anyone to stay at the Vamana Resort. We stayed 6 nights. We were all sad when we had to leave. It felt like home. I toured around for 3 weeks all over Bali and this was my favorite place the whole trip. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I can not express how much we loved the staff there. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was awesome. AND its right across the street from the beach. It has the best location- corner store next door, spa down the street and the best restaurants walking distance and you can rent a bike at the front desk and you can tour all around the island. The area is quite which is nice because if you wanted to party it up the party places are just a short bike ride up the street. 10/10 There was nothing I would change. I enjoyed everything.

Great location with the turtles and amazing sunrises at your doorstep! It’s also easy to walk to the busier part of the island. The staff make this hotel a great stay - so personable, friendly and always willing to help. The room was also very clean. The only thing that could be improved are the toiletries. They don’t smell very nice and are very difficult to get out of the little bottles. Otherwise everything else was great.
