Outdated and when asked for room change we were charged extra. Restaurant or room service is quite slow and no taste… plus there are a lot of insects and when reported no resolution Service and cleanness

Great location within walking distance from the port and Gili Town. The resort has direct beach access, swimming pool, lounge chairs, restaurant, afternoon tea and breakfast option. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This was our second stay. The wifi in the rooms could be improved. Worked well in the lobby.

The location is unbeatable!! Is so cozy, clean, nice and spacious. Everything actually was fine, maybe just the breakfast and the food menu in general could get better a bit. More options.

Location was very convenient, there are many good restaurants & massages places within 10-15min walk. Many diving shop & snorkeling tour shops (very inexpensive) close by too. It was approx 20-30min walk from the pier, so better to use the horse carriage to take you & luggage to the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good, they will take your order, rather than buffet style. Not too many variety though. The whole island was just prefect, with very nice water, beautiful scenery & beaches. There are many cottages close to each other, so the environment was a little crowded. There are quite a few mosquitos, but the hotel would light up 1 Repellent Coils outside of the door (& bathroom if I asked them to), which would last whole night.

The room was beautifully maintained—spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting. While we didn’t sample the food during our stay, everything else about Vila Almarik spoke of quality and attention to detail. The staff were courteous, helpful, and always ready with a warm smile, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout. For anyone seeking comfort, charm, and a great location on the island, Vila Almarik is a fantastic choice. Would absolutely return in a heartbeat!

Large, modern well equipped villa.. great location central but quiet. We were fortunate to stay in one of the new villas which comfortably accommodated myself and two children. Huge bathrooms, great aircon and lots of space with magnificent cathedral style ceiling. Last swim at 7pm is early for families, need to get a coffee machine- a latte in the morning would make all the difference!

The room was large and the toilet was very good. The staff were also very attentive and were very responsive when we requested for anything. Design of the Villa was also very good, with enough power points and no need for travel adapters. They also had a wash point at the front of the Villa to wash off the sand before you enter your room. When you snorkel out, you can see quite a few turtles feeding in the shallows. The WiFi network was not very stable, and would keep switching off if you are not using it. This is especially so in the bathroom, when you can’t get any network, but it wouldn’t affect the entire experience.

Bungalow was spacious, clean and airy. Huge bathroom complete with everything you needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling, polite and courteous. Good choice for breakfast, plenty of options. Slightly out of the main area which was perfect for us as it was a little quieter. Only a few minutes walk to be right in the hub at night. The villa is under refurbishment at the moment but this didn't cause any disturbance at all.

The location was the best spot on the island. Close enough to the harbor and main strip but not too close that it was noisy. The beach directly out front of the hotel was the best spot to snorkel and swim. We literally just hopped in and saw a turtle a metre away from us. Calm, clean water. The hotel was great. Meals were excellent, comfy bed, good air con. Excellent spot for families. Can’t think of anything!

Spacious Room. Great location for snorkeling, also away from the party bars and noises. Hotel staff was nice. Had to pay extra 100k per day for my 4yr old. The reason was we arrived with an extra person(?) from the booking info, so the hotel needed to charge more to provide extra service and towels. We didn't get any of that. Weird color water came out when turned on warm/hot. Watch out for the sharp edges in the swimming pool. My daughter cut her foot on the side of the kid's pool. For a hotel this price on Gili T, it would be nice to provide free services like snorkels, flippers or reef shoes rentals.

Location, size of the room, staff were lovely, good food on the beach, spotless rooms, loved the decor. Grounds were well kept. Massive bed. Well stay again without hesitation when we return to Gili Trawangan Liked everything.
