Mevlana Cave Hotel

The hospitality of the hotel owners is above all praise. Cleaning at your request is immediate. Mehmet has helped us with the organization of the balloon flight in advance. We celebraed our birthdays and anniversary there, and Mehmet even organized a birthday cake and flowers for us! It was very touching and we appreciated it a lot. Mainly the breakfast and the way the personal was helping. They woke us up on the day the balloons were finally flying and always there to answer our questions :)

Mehmet helped us a lot during our stay and was incredibly kind and welcoming. Everyone we met was very nice and friendly. The room decoration is beautiful and full of traditional Turkish character, which added a lot to the experience. We really enjoyed our stay here and would happily recommend it.

Excellent location, just 2 minutes walk from the main road, but still very quiet with nice view (even balloons) from the terrace. Family-run new small hotel; the son, Mehmet, is a smart friendly young man who handles nearly eveything of the hotel. He arranged very good local tours for us, including the hot balloon fly. Jacuzzi bath tub is big but shallow, difficult to immerse the whole body in water.

It is so easy to like almost everything related to this property. It is definitely new or recently renovated, centrally and conveniently located, the staff is helpful, kind and always willing to assist and explain all the possible situations and circumstances. Since we were with a car, the staff provided a parking spot next to the entrance doors of the property. Really, the car could not have been closer to the property than it was. The room was pleasant, clean and new and the terrace on the roof of the property is a special and amazing thing. Those who enjoy good views will want to enjoy the terrace for hours. Everything that is important in Göreme is within a definitive walking distance including the famous and iconic balloon/sunset/sunrise viewpoint over this small town. Indeed, it is so easy to recommend the property to any visitor to amazing Cappadocia. The only drawback was the lack of any kind of doors between the living room and the bathroom.

Excellent stay. Breakfast was varied, abundant, and delicious. The staff were kind and attentive. Excellent location, just a few minutes on foot from Göreme and the bus station. For tours and activities, minibuses conveniently pick you up directly at the hotel.

We had a GREAT time staying at Arcus Cappadocia! This is a family run hotel and everyone was SO KIND and helpful. They arranged airport transport , could arrange balloons and other tours, gave great recommendations, and Mehmet even was able to taxi us to sunset points and to the airport himself. The location was literally PERFECT! We were able to walk to the famous "Lovers Point" lookout for sunset in less than 10 minutes (be warned all of cappadoccia is built into mountains so it is steep some places), walk to goreme open air museum, and had less than a 10 minute walk to essentially every restaurant and bar worth visiting in Goreme. We met many people who were jealous of our location and ease of getting around. We are a 38 year old well traveled couple with my 65 year old parents, and had booked 2 rooms (one regular double and the suite) and both of us loved our rooms. My parents were upgraded on arrival to a second floor room and my husband and I stayed in the suite that is conviently located in the main floor off of adorable courtyard that was also great to hang out in. Everyone in the hotel has access to a great rooftop terrace where you can watch the balloons overhead, sunset, or see the city lit up at night. We read MANY reviews of other hotels in the area that left us concerned with the extreme heat, smells, humidity, and plumbing issues that came with staying in cave rooms. We were thrilled to find that these rooms were new and clearly built into the caves but had modern touches so we did not have any of these issues and stayed cool in our rooms despite the oppressive heat outside. The suite has a beautiful sitting room, huge comfortable bedroom, 2 televisions (although you hopefully won't use them in this beautiful place), and a huge bathroom that had not only a shower with 3 different shower heads under the cave ceiling but also the BIGGEST jacuzzi bathtub we've ever had a hotel (including 5 star Japanese hotels). Nothing! This was such a WONDERFUL stay!

From the moment we arrived, Mehmet and his family went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The service was exceptional—personalized, attentive, and always delivered with a smile. A surprise moment with a birthday cake was very touching and lovely. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained. Delicious breakfast was served personally. Rooftop veranda with a great view over the town had a warm, inviting feel, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or watching air balloons on sunrise If you’re looking for a place with heart, where hospitality and a friendly atmosphere matter most, Arcus is the perfect choice.

Clean, modern new facility with full Turkish breakfast (no buffet). Spacious rooms with nice traditional decoration. Excellent location, the stuff was very friendly. Great value for money. The rooms were not sound proof, we could hear the noise from outside. No door at the toilet and the light from the bathroom window was disturbing in the morning.

The hotel is close to the center of Goreme without the climb up the mountain. Close walk to restaurants, and balloon viewing locations, the easiest of which is the rooftop of Arcus Cappadocia! Mehmet will take care of everything you need. Arrange airport transfers, tours, and a good deal on balloon flights. The breakfast is the best. Stay here and be treated like family! Nothing

our stay on Capadoccia was very simple and confortable, because Mehmet and the hotel staff helped us manage everything, from the turkish bath through to the balloons ride. without being intrusive, everytime we needed anything they were really helpful and even offered to take us to the bus station and help us with the luggage. the location is also very central, easy to walk everywhere. the terrace has a lovely view, I could take lovely pictures to the balloons from there.
