SpringHill Suites by Marriott Grand Rapids North

The elevators were not working. The room we were given had broken locks, broken shower soap dispensers; and the front desk advised they were aware when we checked out the next day. They should not be able to give rooms that are not equipped with fully working locks.

The staff let us come in early to our room before our event so my two babies could get a nap in before we left. That was so kind of them. The pool was too cold to enjoy.

Kindness, friendliness, and hospitality of staff. Clean, comfortable, and quiet room. Located minutes away from the Spartan Celtic Festival. Great weekend. Minor gripe: location of the wall handle for easier and safer entrance into the bathtub. Handle should be on the right side not the left blocked by the toilet.

Exceptional

Smelt funny the whole building staff were not very friendly and didn't have our room ready we had to wait 3 hrs to check in from when we arrived. And said there was a sofa bed more like a coffin it was a mattress laying inside the couch couldn't pull it out and was framed into the couch. How stupid of a design. You need to update your rooms. I will not be back to that specific hotel.

Room was clean. The area was nice. The room was very spacious. Workers were very attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel again.

It was nice and clean. The staff were very nice. There weren't any sheets on the trundle bed so my son just slept on the sofa. There weren't any coffee cups but there were lids and coffee and other things. There were a few opened drinks left in the fridge from the previous guests. The stay was nice otherwise and we would still come back.

Passing through on our way up north. Loved the price. Very nice room. Very spacious. Staff was SUPER helpful and nice. Breakfast was great! Nice affordable room with free breakfast, can’t beat it! Would come back if in the area. The faucet/sink in our room where the coffee pot and fridge is looked like it wasn’t cleaned. The ice bucket had water in it as if it wasn’t switched out. Wondering if that area was even cleaned at all. Bad water stain behind the toilet. The desk in the room was very wobbly. Other than that, everything else was great.

Check in staff were polite and friendly. The free breakfast was delicious. Pool was clean. Rooms were clean. Would stay again.

The property was in a convenient location to access downtown Grand Rapids & to get on or off the interstate. I only complaint we had was how cold the temperature was in the indoor pool. Other than that the staff was friendly & helpful, plus there was a good selection for breakfast.

There was nobody at the check-in desk and I was stuck there waiting for at least five minutes. I called on the phone, but they said they’d be up soon.
