Room was dirty toilet flooded and I had to be moved rooms. 2nd room wasn’t as clean as the first

The bedding was clean and comfortable but the bathroom shower was dirty upon arrival. There was a mildew odor in the hallway and the elevator was slow and breakfast was sparse. This is an old, run down low-end budget hotel needing to be renovated and remodeled. About the best thing I can say about it is that the location was convenient to Downtown Grand Rapids.

New owners, the restaurant was not open, the bar was not open, am breakfast was very minimal due to restaurant not being open, general cleanliness was subpar, no mattress or bedbug protection on the mattress, one elevators not working, the one elevator that was working took a very long time to get to you. Not at all what was shown on the online pictures and information. I would not have picked this hotel knowing that everything was closed and not operational.

Room was mostly clean, but there were visible sticky stains on the end tables as if they hadn’t been wiped down. The bathroom was very disappointing. Dirty handprints on the walls and a showerhead with visible pink mold.

Hotel was not accommodating whatsoever

Great location! So much potential. Needs TLC

Tried to check in to this stinky hotel and ended up leaving. They couldn't find my reservation and told me I had to wait until the large line of people checked in to see if they could look deeper into it. Thirty minutes later they were still checking people in. I had this reservation for 4 months.

There seems to be a shortage of staff - rooms should always be looked at before a guest checks in, and ours had several problems, including a broken shower, a malfunctioning TV remote, and a fridge that had a giant chunk of ice in it that thawed throughout our stay, leaving a large puddle. Continental breakfast is the most limited one I have seen - no juice - no toast or bagel - no one was monitoring the supply and each time we came down for breakfast we had to go find someone to replenish something. The patio is beautiful but since you are not permitted to take any beverage or food outside it goes to waste.

The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Just wish their elevator wasn't so slow.
-
Rooms were clean but hallways need attention. The complimentary breakfast closed before time and no coffee available in lobby
-
not bad , it served its purpose. hotels.com accidentally booked us twice somehow and they were kind enough to made sure we weren’t charged. no real issues ; the restaurant is closed for renovations and the current owners are doing the best they can to be accommodating. pool and hot tub one of the nicest i’ve seen in a hotel in a while.

Professional and courteous service, great atmosphere and please staff.
-
The staff is friendly and very helpful. Maintenance seems to be low priority. The “breakfast buffet” was weak coffee and 2 cereal options. Location was great for downtown access, but definitely overpriced.

The room had no place for luggage. The hallways were not cleaned. The same crumbs were in the hallway for the entire 3 nights we stayed there. The bathtub was very old and chipped. The morning offerings were packaged food similar to gas stations. While the location was convenient for us, I would not stay there again.
-
The hotel is dated and smells really bad. The rooms are dusty and not very clean.
-
The hotel was nice but that breakfast has to get better other then that was great nice size hot tube and pool
-
Everything else needs a deep clean Air conditioning was poor, blind wouldn’t open, holes in carpet, shoes stuck to the dirty floor
