Hampton Inn & Suites Grandville Grand Rapids South

Loves it. Clean space, nice showers comfortable bed. Loves the shade instead of drapes…gave me a nice dark room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will look to stay here again.

We only stayed 1 night but it was excellent. The bed was comfy and the pillows didn’t go flat like they do in most places. Our room was nice and clean. The staff were all super friendly and seemed happy to be there. We had a great experience. Would definitely stay again.

Room was clean. We couldn’t hear the rooms next to use like other hotels that was a big plus. Breakfast was one of the best continental breakfast I have seen. Just a wonderful place to stay.

Staff were all super friendly, easy check in amd out, we barely heard any other guests, beds were super soft. The personalized TV was a hit. Parking lot could have been a little bigger. Neighborhood kids kept trying to get in.

The cleaners could be obstinate about refusing to even speak one word of English but I don’t know any Spanish either. It was just their attitude that was disturbing. We had a good week visiting sites around Grand Rapids and had a restful stay at the hotel.

I stay at this location when ever in Grand Rapids area. Always a great stay. Nothing I can think of. It's always clean , quiet and staff always helpful.

When we arrived on a Friday afternoon the computer system was down and there were a lot of people checking in. Although the staff handled things calmly and got everyone in their rooms efficiently. We were pleased with the large room they put us in. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had a king bed suite. A bit disappointed that there was no freezer compartment in the fridge, but not that important. The first morning we had no maid service so we had no clean towels that day nor tissues or TP refills so we had to go to the front desk. They were accommodating and supplied them. The next day we had maid service come. Breakfast was just OK nothing special, scrambled eggs daily. We were told breakfast was until 10 but we went down at 9:30 on Monday and they were cleaning up. They said only until 9 on week days but they waited to clean up the rest until we got a few things. Overall a nice place.

I booked this hotel because it got good reviews and I thought a Hampton Inn was a good brand. Wrong so far spent 4 nights and the room has yet to be cleaned. When we checked in there was no TP on holder there was an extra roll but did not last long. The next day I went up to the housekeeper and asked for roll of TP and bath mat (that wasn’t there either). So the following day came back room not cleaned, I went to desk and asked how often they clean and she said every other day. I was like they didn’t come, she said oh we had a computer glitch so maybe that is why. I will put a note to make sure it is done tomorrow. It wasn’t. I went down again and they said we will put it down again. Still nothing. It is unbelievable, the whole 4th floor feels humid the floor of room left a film on the bottom of your feet. The beds and pillows are super comfortable that’s literally the only positive thing I can say. So disappointed.
