Springhill Suites Grand Rapids West

Good location, clean, courteous staff, quiet rooms, good breakfast. Excellent price!!! Not a fan of sliding bathroom door and bathroom door being so close to beds. Would prefer breakfast hours until 10:00 when on vacation. Keys did not work on 1st attempt. Worked fine after being reprogrammed.

The front desk staff was great and very accomodating.

Limited housekeeping is ok but replenishing the coffee pods and providing clean water glasses when they did come in is necessary for a longer stay guest. And no safe in the room???

Staff was helpful with the loud noises from the 2nd floor. Lots of traffic so breakfast was not something I was interested in with that many people being rude and inconsiderate.

We got to the hotel at roughly 8pm. Mind you, check in was at 3pm. Our room was completely trashed... Garbage everywhere, dirty bedsheets, absolutely filthy!!! I went to talk to the front desk staff (Mohammad) and he was the least bit helpful. He wouldn’t call his managers because he said he had to text them instead. We told him we were in a rush as we had a concert to be to. We asked if our room could be cleaned by the time we got back, he told us no there was no one avaliable to clean it. We asked if we could get a different room, he told us no there were none available. He also told us we couldn’t get a refund because it was a weekend and it has to go through the managers. We waited nearly a half hour at the hotel before we heard anything about what was going on with our hotel room. They ended up saying they would have someone come in to clean it but we had to wait until 11:00pm. There was no parking by the time we got back. There were no clean towels in the pool room. Overall terrible experience.

Air-conditioning need to have better control on adjusting temps. At tine it was too cold and too hot. Staff dont refill your towels unless you ask.

The rooms and hotels are so clean. Mohammad was the best customer service I’ve received in a long time anywhere. The rooms are big but the layout is so weird and the door to the bathroom is so loud. It’s my only complaint so if your a light sleeper it might not be for you but the service and hotel it self is nice. The pool layout is wild though lol
