The Gibson Hotel Great Falls, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Room was very small with no closet or sink in bathroom and there was a roach on my pillow when we arrived. Super nice staff and very helpful.

best place to stay in...

Very good

Excellent stay! Very quiet event though there was a loud street party the evening we arrived. Convenient and walkable to restaurants, efficiently designed rooms. Breakfast is delivered to your room. Very clean. Definitely would stay again.

Newer style and more of a modern feel to the rooms. Downtown is an easy walk and very close to most points of interest. The sliding door for the bathroom is something to get used too. The open shower stall tends to get the floor of the bathroom very wet.

This location is right in the middle of downtown next to a busy bar/casino. So when we arrived the doors were locked. We had to stand out there for a few minutes before someone let us in. Once we got to the room it was ok, just not the cleanest. We were tired from a very long day, so we did not request another room. I went to make coffee the next morning with the Keurig, but the one in the room was broken. I did get to use the one in the lobby though. I would not choose to stay here again.

The Gibson was a wonderful surprise. It is a nice hotel with great decor (and not too much of it). The vibe is friendly and helpful. It was super clean. The room was very spacious with an excellent king bed. Again, very clean. The amenities were terrific: from free laundry to free snacks and coffee. Parking was easy. Again, a great find.

Staff was very nice and...

It started with a housekeeper trying to forcibly enter my room as I was dead asleep. She said sorry & then came back 5 min later banging on the door again. I was still half asleep as I got in at 2am that morning but informed her I was staying the following night as well. She continued to try to speak to me through the door in a brusque tone stating, “the front desk doesn’t even know you’re here.” I said I’d call the front desk & she finally left. I spoke with Michael & gave my name & res # & let him know what happened. He apologized for the miscomm & there was no additional problem. Even if there was one, I’m confused why a housekeeper would be the one resolving it & not the front desk. The woman’s conduct floored me for a $300/night hotel & not a motel 6. I also asked for no pork with my breakfast wrap for religious reasons. While the first night there was no problem, when I requested it the next day I was told with a big laugh & sigh by Johnny that “they can’t do that.” They alr had. I know this is GF but a little cultural sensitivity training could go a long way. I also asked about the milk & cookies delivery & he said “he just made some cookies come down whenever.” There was no delivery & no milk. I guess that was false adv.

Cute little hotel with fabulous personal service. Quiet and off the Main Street yet easy access to everything.

Super nice boutique hotel that covers all the finishing touches including a nice nontypical breakfast.

The staff was so welcoming. We were offered a beverage at check in. They brought fresh baked cookies and milk to our room. In the morning they delivered breakfast at exactly the time we requested. The food was very good. The bed was memory foam and delightful.

The room was clean and the staff were great. The breakfast gets delivered to your room and it’s great. Staff was awesome and would answer any questions we had. Very responsive and on time for the airport shuttle

We heard this place was recently renovated and when I say WOW I mean WOW! I have never seen a staff more accommodating and friendly. They were polite, offered water, cookies and complimentary beverages and breakfast they deliver to your room! This place was top notch and we were very impressed!! Thank you.
