The hotel looks nice, the lobby is very nice. The room wasn't very clean, the closet was full of crumbs. Now, the beds OMG the must painful beda a have ever sleep in. That back pain woke me up, and it wasn't just mine, my sister and her husband too. The pillows was so small and hard. Not a very comfortable stay. I wouldn't recommend it.

Wonderful stay in a well maintained property. Transferred here after a horrible stay at a neighboring hotel.

This hotel has become my favorite places. Staff is amazing and the place is well maintained.

I stay there a lot for work so this has happened several times. The water is lukewarm when you take a shower. So that is not enjoyable at all. The temp in the room is too cold and you can't seem to control that at all. So I am freezing from the shower and freezing all night while I'll sleep. I even take my own blanket too to try yo stay warmer.

No complaints. It was a pleasant stay.

A member of housekeeping was talking (almost yelling at someone on her phone in hallway… it actually woke me up) There were hairs in the shower and on the coffee maker. The bathroom counter was cracked and A/C wasn’t cooling/dehumidifying in the morning??

I absolutely loved the staff. Extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, clean and I loved the location. Not far from the National Mall and other attractions we wanted to see in DC. Will most definitely come back. Thank you for everything.

The hotel was very clean. The bathroom was newly remodeled. However, the hallways and rooms could use some updating. Overall the stay was great. The hotel was very clean. The staff were very pleasant.

Clean place to stay

The linens are clean and the carpet and tile in the bathroom look like a recent renovations. However, I deducted stars for the following reasons: 1. our room overlooked a storage room and the lobby, so it was noisy at night 2. There were water stains on the ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom 3. The small makeup mirror that is attached the wall was precariously hanging on. The caulk around where it was attached to the wall was half off the wall. 4. The lobby shows signs of wear and tear (multiple tiles were chipped, and the cobblestones in the drop off area were broken 5. The toilet paper roll holder was precariously dangling on the wall

I had a late check-in. When I arrived the female concierge was dry but helpful enough. She informed me of my room number and when and where the free continental breakfast was. I woke up the next morning, checked out, and ate breakfast. Then, I was handed an approximate $22 bill for the single plate of wet scrambled eggs, overcooked bacon, small helping of potatoes (the only good tasting thing on the plate) and a small glass of orange juice. When I mentioned I stayed the night at the hotel I was told I had to get my voucher. When I spoke to the concierge, who was a different woman than the night before, she said that breakfast was not included with my booking. I explained that I was told there was a free breakfast when I checked in. Her response was, "she's a new girl and hasn't been fully trained yet." Mind you this concierge didn't know that I had a late check-in. So, it was clear to me that I got a canned response since I don't believe she knew who actually checked me in. Her demeanor was cold, unprofessional, and border-line rude. The only saving grace was the woman that worked in the dining section went ahead and waved the fee for the breakfast, was polite, and apologized for the misunderstanding. All things the concierge did not do. I will not stay there again.
