I reserve the hotel. I’m not good. The curtain rod in our room was broken. The receptionist was very friendly and move us to a different room with a spectacular view of Guanajuato. The first room didn’t have that view. For the future not sure how to reserve a room with that spectacular view. Besides calling. I know most of the time online is cheaper. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious. I don’t know why kids’ breakfast is not included. Overall fantastic if I have the opportunity I will go back again. We were told the hotel offers a tour. Very interesting. Definitely planning to go back. Kids breakfast was included.

It needs more attention to maintenance; there were cockroaches in the room every day. They didn't have coffee or cups to serve you coffee in.

Location a bit far
-
The parking, the view from the balcony, the patio. It was windy and it made a lot of noise as it blew through , we could have used more pillows, the internet was super slow so watching tv was frustrating.

Mattresses and pillows were too hard. The hardest I’ve ever slept on. This surpasses firm mattress.

Very friendly and helpful staff once we checked in the hotel. The front desk clerk was very professional and made the checking very smooth. Unfortunately we were bit as we were sleeping and the bites appear to be from bed bugs. The floor was dirty and blankets didn’t appear to be washed.

I liked customer service Too much people in the pool

The location was ok it was a 16-19 walk depending on where you are going. The view was beautiful. The beds were very, very uncomfortable. Pillows were hard and lumpy. There are no phones in the room to communicate with front desk. We were communicating via whatsup messaging. There was no hot water in my room our first night. They insisted we DO have hot water but we did not. They did not send a maintenance person to check on it at all. The next day I requested a change of room due to the hot water situation. In this room. Unfortunately, the shower was leaking in the rest of the bathroom. It also smelled like sewage. Lastly we stayed here initially for the pool but the pool was ice cold. So cold that even and 85° weather we could not get in.

The pool Mattress needed replacing. Property very dated and in need of full upgrade/refurbishment throughout. There didn’t seem to be anything actually available on the breakfast menu when we went to order, including ordinary bread. The staff seemed to be confused and not too happy to have guests there. Jacqueline however at the front desk was very helpful and tried to assist as best as possible despite all the challenges. Dogs barking from nearby property kept us awake at all hours - waking us up 2am, 4am, 6am and continuously barking nonstop.

Wonderful staff, very good food in the restaurant, secure parking and quiet 1. Strong sewer smell when lounging at pool. 2. Inconsistent restaurant schedule.
-
The furniture, parking place and kindness of the staff The curtains didn’t work properly
-
The door knob of the bedroom it seems like it had been broken in, and latch wouldn't close all the way, which seemed very flimsy.

Nothing significant The room , heater , bathroom , blanket .

Nothing much … maybe the view? From the moment we arrived we were treated with less than decency. They charged us about 25% more than the original price and blamed it on Booking.com. On our way out they wanted to charge us again for “extra hours” and demanded we gave them our credit card. When we refused, they called the police. On top of that, the lock on our room was broken, the pillow cases were dirty, we had to change the bed linens and they gave us a dirty one. Breakfast was below average and service was deplorable. The manager was unprofessional, confrontational and rude. No manners whatsoever… A local guide told us the hotel had been vacant for years and was ransacked which is why the hotel is in such bad conditions.
