Super charming, well maintained, calm vibes, nice helpful staff, room price includes a made to order basic breakfast served in a lovely patio. No hot water. It’s necessary to ask ahead of time for them to turn on the boiler. I stayed previously and had the same issue

we loved the landscape, garden, fountains and we really enjoyed the food

Location. Walking distance from downtown. The room did not look the photos, it looked old. There was no iron or board. Had to ask for hot water and even when the person came by to repair, it wasn’t hot at all. WiFi was extremely bad.

Most of the staff as well as all of the waiters were amazing. The food at the restaurant was really good. They didn’t have hot water in the rooms we booked therefore we ended up getting super sick. We let the receptionist know every day that we didn’t have hot water and requested a different room but wouldn’t be accommodated. I messaged the property through booking.com and never heard back. The receptionist, Ximena, also sold us four tickets to the Callejoneadas, didn’t set up anything and basically scammed us as she didn’t give us our full refund back. DO NOT give any of your money to that receptionist as she will definitely scam you and the hotel is not affiliated with her packages but she doesn’t tell you this until it’s too late.

Jose (maintenance) and all of the waiters in both morning and afternoon shifts were amazing. The food at the Embajadoras restaurant was the best we found in Guanajuato and their prices were very reasonable. The receptionist scammed us with tickets to a show that she didn’t book accordingly and when we had our show time cancelled 10 minutes before the showtime she didn’t give us a full refund. We had no hot water throughout our hotel stay and let her know every day and it never got fixed until one day when we were able to catch Jose and he was able to fix it for us for one day. The other days we had to shower with cold water or go to the other room we booked and the water was warm but never hot there either which we also let them know.

Very nice hotel with a fine restaurant and service. The breakfast was included and was excellent: chilaquiles, bread, and fruit. The room, bed, and bathroom were comfy and classy. It's a bustling area outside the hotel so a little noisy with traffic sounds but not in the room. Good central location. The only downside was the door to the bathroom in our room didn't close completely. Not a problem if you're not sharing the room. Also, the water in shower wasn't super hot. Again, not a problem in hot season.
