The rooms have glass doors, so you can hear everything and it can be difficult to sleep

Omar was always ready to accomodate us and make sure we had everything we needed. The acoustics of the place are a bit unfortunate, anybody having breakfast will wake you up if you are in the rooms upstairs.

Breakfast was very nice, lots of fresh fruit! Beautiful patios and decor. Super nice staff! Soundproofing...

The breakfast was great — local pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt. Coffee and tea was available 24 hours a day.

Nothing, it was lovely.

The queen room was very small, even for 1 person, the bed not very comfortable. I would recommend to go for a king room.

From the outside it was ordinary. Inside, it was cozy and comfortable, with a pretty courtyard with tables and chairs for breakfast, and a living room area. There are lots of plants in blue and white pots, and a lovely fountain. Bougainvillea climbs the wall. There is a small library with many books on Mexico and guides to the area. Our room was upstairs and had a private balcony over looking the courtyard below. The room was small, but adequate, with room for our clothing in the chest of drawers, and enough hangers for our shirts. Bathroom is tiny but clean and good water pressure. Bed was large and comfortable. We had the linens changed once. There was a water jug with cups that we filled from the big water dispenser downstairs. Omar, the manager, was lovely. He answered our questions and my wife had many conversations with him in Spanish. He was helpful with some paperwork and restaurant suggestions His English is good also. Our small breakfast every morning was perfect for our needs and very healthy. Fresh cut up fruit from the nearby vendors, bread and pan dulces, coffee and additional fruits ( banana, mangos, kiwis). The bananas were especially delicious. We felt very safe behind several locked doors, though we never felt unsafe anywhere we went. There are two ways to walk into the center, one which is Shady and has much less traffic but not as many scenic stone bridges. I love the antiquity of the City. It’s an artist’s dream! My only complaint is the steep stairs going up to the second floor. Omar carried our bags up, but someone with mobility issues might have a problem. The street noise, mainly buses and cars with huge subwoofers thumping up the street can be a bit annoying, but not too bad and things quiet down by about 11 PM. So did the neighborhood rooster.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Sueno. Omar is a great host and helped us with all of our questions. Our room was lovely with wooden furniture and a very comfy bed. The bathroom was sparkling clean, water temp and pressure were good. It was warm during our stay so we kept the window to the patio open. All was quiet. The property is in an old part of town with a patio garden downstairs for breakfast and a roof top terrace for relaxing. It was lovely with lots of plants and seating. Facilities also included a fridge, purified water and a good continental breakfast. The location is also great. We enjoyed being in an authentic area of town within walking distance of Guanajuato's sites. Bakeries, taco restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream stands are all part of the vibe around Villa Sueno. Thanks, Omar, for a wonderful stay ! Everything was great

Nice common area. I stayed in the room next to the street, which is a bit noisy.

It’s a lovely spot, about 20 minutes walk into the centre square. Very clean. We stayed in the room with the private balcony which is definitely the best room as far as I could see. There are lovely sitting areas, upstairs in the sun or down on the sofas. The breakfast was generous with fruit, fresh breads, yogurt, cereals, coffee, tea and juice. Staff were very friendly and there was free water on site. Would stay again. I liked everything. The one improvement that could be made is the information says breakfast is from 8 to 10. We are early folks so we’re down at 8, nothing was ready. We started going down at 8:30 and still they would be going out for the fresh buns.

It was out of the central area, but an easy 15-20 minute walk into the action. Very good Taco restaurant 2 minutes away. Staff were willing to ensure our stay was comfortable and supplied a new heater and additional blanket when we asked. It was a good option away from the noise of downtown and the staff were very good. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The shower was very small and slow to heat the water - and you need to be aware that the room with the balcony has a large step up into the bathroom (not ideal for night-time trips). The balcony for our room only had an internal courtyard view, but there was another terrace with sunshine to enjoy. Our son stayed in a downstairs double room with no external windows. It was cold at night, but blankets and a heater were supplied.

The common area was comfortable. Room was quiet despite being on a busy street. Staff helpful albeit limited English. Beds were hard as a rock. Could barely sleep. Pillow thin and unsupportive. Took a long time to get water warm for shower. Only heat in room was a tiny, inadequate space heater. Temperatures were in the 40’s at night, so I was cold unless in bed.

A bit cold at night but they provide heating

Felt as home and loved the room with balcony overlooking the patio. At walking distance of the city center. Omar was a very good host, friendly and even offered us to do our laundry. Big thumbs up and muchísimas gracias! Small bathroom and the wifi connection in the room was non existence. And on and off at the balcony.

staff very helpful and friendly. very good breakfast. felt safe and secure. room had private balcony. we kept loosing the internet in our room.
-
The staff was very kind and helpful. They were willing to help us with a map and getting around the city. The room was very small for two people. I then realized that other rooms were significantly bigger.
-
Adorable hotel. Our room was very cute and was bigger than we expected. Very clean, friendly staff and good breakfast. Can’t think of anything

A bit noisy due to the street conditions

The B&B is very nice decorated and clean, located in the quiet outskirts of the centro histórico. Room is spacious (no A/C but it’s not necessary). Took 10-15 minutes walk to Jardín de la Union. And the restaurant nearby the hotel is also good. No.
