A great location in the center of the small town. Staff were friendly and went with us to show us where to park. Breakfast was good. Rooms large and clean with decent towels.

From the moment I entered the building I was treated like a part of the family. The building itself is very old and is in the middle of the village. My room was on the top floor with exposed beams and with characterful fittings. Great! The owner is a real character able to speak English with different accents. The meal I had in the evening was superb and great value for money. Would love to stay here again Nothing

Where shall I begin? Clean, cosy, feels like home, clean rooms, quiet but still in the center next to nice coffee bars, lovely breakfast in the morning and the most important: the staff are great! All very friendly, informative, flexible with the time of check in and out, considerate. I came with a friend and asked separate beds and very late check in (23:00) and it was possible. I am definitely coming back.

The directions were easy to follow and the hotel was easy to find. The staff was friendly and were multi-lingual.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. It was located in a quieter part of Gulpen center. I only slept at the hotel so I can't evaluate their bar or restaurant. I requested an early check-in between 12-13:00. When I arrived everything was closed. I phoned the hotel number but only got voice mail. I thought that the hotel had its own parking area, but it turns out that this was a 2-hour maximum blue zone until after 18:00. When I checked in I requested an early breakfast from 08-08:15. This wasn't possible and I was offered a "box-lunch" breakfast that would be left in the fridge in my room later that evening. The breakfast was simple but more than adequate and tasty. All of the items that needed cooling were in the fridge, but the fridge wasn't plugged in!!!
