Hotel Wohnen

The staff were very kind. They attended to our every need. They have a private onsen and We could use the bicycle for free. They were willing to pick and Drop us off at the station. The breakfast was delicious and my husband and I loved it. Highly recommend this place and would DEFINITELY come back?

Very friendly and helpful service, including lifts to the Happo Information Centre and supermarkets as well as to the bus terminal on departure. The hotel oozes charm, and the lovely upstairs lounge gives you someone to relax outside your room. The sauna and private onsen are great for recovery. The hotel is close to the ski buses and Echoland. The chef is excellent and the breakfast is a fusion of East and West delicious and nutritious. The restaurant has a great variety of dishes. Loved the size of the room and the comfort. Breakfast was fantastic and the dinner was Oishi. We were expecting a French restaurant as this is what was advertised on the website when we booked and contributed largely to our decision to book.

Incredibly owners and staff, small hotel, comfortable rooms and amenities, amazing restaurant and bar, convenient snow gear storage, taxi service, lovely bath facilities.

Lovely, stylish place, surrounded by forest, with a great sento. Very quiet in summer. Lovely accommodating staff.

A little far from the main happo bus stop, so if you have luggage with you and not driving, something to consider

We had an amazing time staying at Hotel Wohnen. The staff were amazing, really helpful and kind and were more than willing to go out of their way to help us with anything. The facilities in the hotel like the Onsen, Drying room and Sauna were really great to use after a long day of skiing. Also, the staff were more than willing to provide us with a lift to the train station or too the shops. Next time we come to Japan we will most certainly be staying at Hotel Wohnen again.

The staff were unbelievably helpful and drove us to restaurants, the bus station, anywhere we wanted to go. They went out of their way to help us with everything during our stay. The location was 10/10 with a bus stop out the front to take you to the slopes and an easy walk around the corner to restaurants, bars, and ski hire. Also about a 10minute walk to a supermarket and the train station. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone. So lovely and comfortable and convenient.

Kenji and the staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond with customer service. Hotel was cosy and homely. Nice communal areas. Having a sauna and onsen at the hotel was also a massive bonus as well as a lovely breakfast each morning.

Beautiful property with a fantastic location, opposite the ski shuttle bus to Hakuba 47 and Imori. The best thing about this property is the staff, they went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and relaxing and were so helpful and kind. Cannot wait to stay again! Nothing

Everything!! the property was amazing we was there for 2 nights and it was perfect, the owner offered to pick us up from the station but I didnt see the message till I got to the apartment ? when we arrived the staff checked us in quickly and even gived us a tour of the property which included and nice bath and sauna area to use, location wise is perfect for skiing they had a bus stop to two different ski resort out side of the property. When we arrived to check out the owner asked where we was going and gived us a free lift to bus station free of charge, the customer service from this place is amazing would 100% recommend

Highly recommended for anyone to stay while visiting Hakuba!

Beautiful hotel, great location for catching the shuttle bus to the ski resorts, very spacious and comfortable rooms with great views of Hakuba, breakfast was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful at all times. Nothing

We liked, for first the team! They was so kind for us and take care about all what we was needed.. The breakfast was good for start the day, and the dry ski clothes room was good.. Also the room was good and comfortable Thank u about PERFECT 10Days at your hotel. Absolutely we will come back to your hotel !

Staff were so helpfully with the shuttle and tried to do best for us! The restaurant downstairs does amazing burgers chips & salad!! The beds were a little hard but that’s their thing in Japan.
